Hotel Eurostars Grand Place - Brussels

I was in Brussels for a business trip. Hotels were hard to find due to a large fair. The room was €211 without breakfast (€13). On the plus side the hotel is very easy to reach with public transportation and in walking distance of Grand Place. The rooms are spacious and the WLAN is fast (I measured 8-14MBit) and free. Staff was friendly and helpful and fast to react. Still, I will not stay a this hotel again as the downsides outweigh by far. First, I had room on the street side and it was very noisy. I don't mind street noise but the windows are that poor that you feel the cars driving through your room. I woke up multiple times because of the noise. The mattress was that hard that I could as well slept on the floor. The toilet is for gnomes (and I am neither tall nor heavy). The breakfast was average but OK. The refrigeration unit in the breakfast room was at the noise level of a starting plane.

The air conditioning did'nt work and the window did not open in "plain air" but internally at the hotel, so the air was hot and without oxigen :(

Too far from the Grand Place to be called "Grand Place", especially in the evening/night the surroundings is not veery welcoming nor pleasant.

The location is excellent - only a few minuts to Grand Place, 20 minuts to Gare Centrale. Hotel is good for business travelers but they must be prepared for payable internet - one hour cost 8 euro!

The price for breakfast ( 30 euro ) is more than real one!

Staff were very helpful, even with problems that had nothing to do with the hotel. Parquet flooring with floor heating was very comfortable and much cleaner than any carpet. Not too far from Brussels' Thai/Vietnamese restaurant street, but do bear in mind that this is the seedier side of the boulevard (not too seedy, though). Don't let the name mislead you - it's not FAR from the Grand'Place, but not exactly next to it, either. I rated price/quality less than excellent because hotels are generally overpriced in Brussels, but it's actually okay for the city's price range.

Rooms have sound proof windows and are clean. Hotel location is only 5 minutes on Tram(Bourse line) from eurostar station. Grand Palace is only a 5 minute walk from Hotel. great location for the price.

Good Hotel, good price and in center.

L'unica finestra della stanza dava sulla hall interna dell'hotel, di conseguenza era impossibile il ricambio d'aria (obbligo di usare l'aria condizionata... in marzo!) ed i rumori della hall rimbombavano nella stanza. Anche la porta non era insonorizzata ed i rumori del corridoio disturbavano il sonno.

The hotel is very good. But I had trouble with the locker of my door - it should be checked from time to time.

A good hotel for executive and business people, close to the Grand Place, although not in a very nice street. Well connected with underground. Poor breakfast. A good quality/price ratio, anyway.

The hotel was clean and located reasonably centrally. However the rooms were very noisy and staff on the whole did not appear motivated to provide much assistance with resolving the noise issue. They were also very mixed as to the service they provided - some were very helpfula nd others were clearly not interested in providing any assistance to their guests.

The hotel is well located for the Grand Place and other local attractions, either by Tram or exploring by foot. It is located on Blvd Anspanch opposite the the Church of Notre-Dame du Bon Secours, and located midway between the Metro Stations Anneesens and Bourse Beurs. The breakfast is served as a buffet style, and is well presented and plentiful. The staff are polite and helpful.

This hotel is an excellent value. We enjoyed our stay and wished we had planned to stay longer. Great breakfast and location. Would go back and recommend to anyone.

Nice stay, but not as friendly in my home country norway. The reseption didn't say hello when you arrived or goodbye when you left.

Like all Brussels hotels disproportionatly expensive. Good location.Decor very minimalist. No complaints about our stay.

The area is not so pleasant and my room windows opened on a closed patio. It was just like sleeping around a swimming pool and too warm ! For the rest, it was ok !

Nice rooms and conveniently located if you're in Brussels for leisure - not so much if you are in town for business as it can be a bit out of the way. Breakfast variety is an area they need to work on. Quality of the room was excellent.

Nobody said the the hotel was partially closed due working in progress. Breakfast was been servered in a dirty room with elecrical cable out of the wall. No security for eletrical azard noted.

The internet acces was missing. That is necessary for most of workers. The quality and the diversity of the breakfest can be clearly improved

Room are renovated, VERY clean and close to "La Grande Place". The location is perfect.

I would stay in this hotel again. It was a nice place and good location.

Ask for a room with window on the road

The rooms are new but the impression is one of fast decay (the moquette in the corridors was already spotted) The beds were nearly unprepared.

Satisfactory hotel, good location, staff did not smile much but did a good job. Cleanliness good, breakfast could be improved upon.

It is not indicated, but the hotel is in phase of restructure. Only problem, one unpleasant toxic smell of glue in the room
