As a hotel this is a very good one, and it gives good value for the money, but its location is very awkward: It is surrounded on all sides by roads of different types - so do not visit this hotel without having a car! The only nearby "attraction" is a large shopping centre (which you can reach by foot). After having used venere.com several times, this was the first time that the price quoted by venere was not the price in practice: They added VAT (in Spain: iva) to the price from venere.com.

Lat two times we come to Barcelona we stayed here. We always prefer rent a small car in Gerona - around 30 euro/day - and come here where you can sleep at 1/2 or 1/3 of the price in town with four star (or near...) quality services. Hope they maintain these prices for long.

Good hotel at a cheap price. It is the best if you go to Barberà on business. Maybe quite far (do not forget the traffic at rush hours) if you want to go to Barcelona (but it is only 20 minutes far with no traffic).

The hotel is rather difficult to find the first time, especially if you are not arriving from Barcelona and do not know the area. I would advise a good road map of the surroundings of Barcelona if you attempt this hotel (the Michelin Costa Brava map is a good choice). You need a car for this hotel, it is too far away from Barcelona to be able to conveniently visit the city with public transport. That said, the hotel is excellent, new, modern, with excellent price/quality ratio (probably the cheapest 4-star hotel in or around Barcelona). The noise from the highways outside is perfectly blocked in the rooms and the air-conditioning in the rooms is exceptionally quiet. The only negative point we had was the breakfast buffet on Sunday morning, which in itself good, was not fully ready until 7.30 am although it officially starts at 7 am. So if you are in a hurry early in the morning, I suggest you take your breakfast elsewhere.

We found the hotel very clean and comfortable and made our stay in Barcelona very enjoyable. The only problem we had with it was that the public transportation to downtown Barcelona was on strike when we were there, so we had to take our car to the city. Fortunately, it was only a 5 to 10 minute drive to the city, and found parking areas in front of the Fabra i Puig metro station, where you can leave your car for the day (for free) and use the metro system, which is very efficient (Be sure to be there early as the parking fills up quite quickly). Be aware also that the shopping centre across from the hotel is closed on July 5, as it is the date of the local fiesta of the town. So if you are there on that day, do not plan on buying food in the supermarket. If you have car, though, you can buy food in a supermarket in a neighbouring town (there are many nearby). Overall, a great stay in a comfortable hotel, and great service. Thank you.

In your brochure was told that the hotel was located 6,7 km out of the center of Barcelona. This was absolutely NOT correct, we had to go by taxi to the center because it was about 20 km! When you wanted to go by train you had to go with the taxi to the train station. So we checked out after 2 nights and went to an hotel in the center of Barcelona (located at the Ramblas and cheaper and we didn´t have to pay every day about 40 euro for the taxi). So the hotel was good, but your information was incorrect.

We were charged breakfast even though it was meant to be included. we paid anyway. Then we had some unexplained 'surplus' charges which were then cancelled because the receptionist had no idea what they were for..neuther did we.

The hotel was very far away from the centre of Barcelona, which I didnt feel was expressed very well on the website. However there was a bus that went to the train station right outside the hotel.

I really do not recommand to anybody to go to this hotel. the service of the hotel is unfriendly and most of the requests we asked have not been fullfilled during our stay (three nights!). The hotel is really located at the junction of the ring and motorway. they is nothing around but a shopping centre. the indication to find out the hotel were not very helpfull. the public area are more than empty and quite small for a 4 stars hotel. we were very desappointed and it is not worth it to pay such a price.

The overall stay at the Hotel was very comfortable with a very good breakfast each morning. The ONE drawback was having to take a taxi and train into Barcelona with NO guaranteed taxi on returning in the evening. This spoilt the few days' break in such a lovely city.

The hotel itself was excellent. I just had problems to get there from the train station, because there was no public traffic and if you don't speak spanish, there is no chance to get a taxi. So I had to walk there two times, which took me about 45 minutes. And besides that it was half an hour away from Barcelona in a small village. I didn't expect that. But I have been satisfied with the service at the hotel. Pretty cheap for a **** hotel! Btw, Venere.com better should print the hotels address and phone number on the reservation sheet.

Good service. To get in the center of Barcelona (Plaça de Cat0alunia) it takes at least 20 minutes, but in Spain roads are big, so it's not that hard as it might seem. Breakfast is NOT INCLUDED in the price, as well as VAT. So, to the price showed by Venere, you should add 10€ per pèerson per day for the breakfast and the 16% of VAT. Rooms are a bit noisy in the morning, when the rooms are cleaned. So stay sure that by 930 you will hear someone making the room close or above yours.

Hotel is 15-20 km from Barcelona, therefore inconvinient for someone without transport. Located is on crosroad of two big highways, therefore convinient for someone who tend to travel in the Barcelona region. Anyway, hotel is brend new, rooms and bathroms are very big and well equiped (pay TV, safe).

le plus important en venant de France c'est de ne pas prendre Barcelone mais la brettelle à gauche elle mène directement à l'hotel et vous ne payer pas le péage de 1.5 euros de Barcelone

Our hotel was difficult to find, because there was no description on how to travel from the airport to the hotel by train, only a brief description on how to get to the hotel by car. Our overall stay was pretty good, and we'll probably stay at this hotel in the near future again!
