Walk throughout Bowness to the lakeshore where you will find the pier that takes the lake cruises from Bowness to Ambleside, or Lakeside where you can enjoy the Aquarium of the lake or journey a little further on one of the steam trains on the Haverthwaite and lakeside railway.
