Panoramic views of the ocean are a main attraction here; Atlântida Mar is Portuguese for Atlantic Ocean. The vistas from the lounge bar and the breakfast room are spectacular. Guests are invited to take advantage of the property highlights: outdoor pool, surrounded by a solarium and a patio. There is also a fitness centre, steam bath, sauna, hydro-massage jacuzzi, and a children's play area. All of the property's public areas and 3 of its guest accommodations have been designed to be accessible for the disabled. Praia da Vitória is on the eastern coast of the island of Terceira in the Azores. Besides its mile-long sandy beach, the town boasts 2 noteworthy churches, a number of restaurants, and a large new marina that is popular with pleasure boaters. A constant ocean breeze makes the port a destination for windsurfing. Many visitors enjoy touring Algar do Carvão and Gruta do Natal, the natural volcanic caves at the interior of the island.

All of the accommodations at the Atlantida Mar Hotel have a private full bath and free wireless internet access. Double rooms are nicely furnished with a large double canopy bed. A private balcony with table and chairs overlooks either the ocean or the mountain ridge that borders the town.
