El hotel es tipo Bed&Breakfast, en un entorno muy tranquilo de la ciudad, cerca de la zona marítima, de la zona comercial y de la ciudad de invierno. La habitación que ocupamos era bastante pequeña y sencilla en cuanto a mobiliario. El armario era reducidísimo, pero como sólo pasamos una noche, no necesitamos más espacio. El baño correcto en cuanto a tamaño y limpieza. Realmente le daríamos una puntuación de notable teniendo en cuenta que el precio que hemos pagado ha sido de 70 euros. La única puntualización que haría es la dificultad de acceso para personas con algún impedimento físico, pues para acceder a las habitaciones, a pesar de haber ascensor, hay que subir algunas escaleras, y lo mismo para llegar a la recepción. No tiene garaje, pero puedes aparcar en los alrededores de la casa. El problema es que cierran las puertas de acceso a las 11 de la noche y si no has llegado tienes que dejar el coche en la calle. Sí te facilitan una tarjeta de acceso por una puerta peatonal. En definitiva, repetiríamos la estancia en este hotel por su buena relación calidad-precio, pero la estancia en este lugar tan bonito de la bahía de Arcachón requiere más de un día para conocer más pueblos y disfrutar de ellos. Nos gustó que fuera septiembre porque había poca gente y nos hizo un tiempo buenísimo, pero en cambio encontramos dificultades a la hora de buscar restaurantes o de contratar excursiones por la bahía porque muchos habían cerrado la temporada o reducido los horarios.

Lástima que la estructura obligue a viajes curiosos por el interior de este bello edificio y sin poder contar con el ascensor, en mi caso. Los servicios son deliciosos. lo recomiendo.

By airplane
From Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport: 45 min.


By car
Less than one hour from Bordeaux (60km) Starting from the Bordeaux ring road, take exit 15 for the A63 motorway in the direction of Arcachon/Bayonne. Take exit 22 for the motorway A660 in the direction of Arcachon. Follow the N250 in the direction of Arcacchon centre, at the entrance of the town you will arrive at a large roundabout with a statue in the centre (Place de Verdun). The hotel Le Dauphin is 200m off the second exit.


By public transport
The hotel is just 200 m from the train station. There are TGV trains from Paris to Arcachon and local trains from Bordeaux all year round. Leaving the train station on foot, head to the right in the direction of the large roundabout (Place de Verdun) with a statue in the middle. The hotel is on the second road on the left.
