Situated in a historical building dating back to the XVIth century, Hotel Cloître Saint Louis Avignon offers an extremely quiet and serene environment.
Initially a religious school for Jesuits, the Cloister saw its function changed over the centuries to a military hospital, and a home for the elderly.
After a thorough renovation in 1990, the building is now a prominent cultural center and a four star hotel. Rooms are found both in the ancient cloister, and in the splendid modern extension designed in 1991 by the famous French achitect Jean Nouvel.

Hotel is open the year round.

The spacious rooms, all furnished in a contemporary design, are located in the Cloister and in the extension completed in 1991. This modern wing is the work of the world-famous French architect Jean Nouvel.

Standard rooms (single or double): the majority is located in the historic section of the hotel, on the ground floor or on the mezzanine, and some with wooden beamed ceiling. Ideal accommdoation for a romantic and cosy stay in Provence.

Superior rooms (single, double, triple): they are located either in the historical or modern area of the hotel. Spacious and quiet, each room enjoys a view over the cloister or the garden. They offer the perfect setting for a romantic stay or a family holiday with 2 adults and 1 child.
