DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Amsterdam Centraal Station - Amsterdam

The location of the hotel is fine being about a five minute walk from the Station. We had reserved four nights room only. Check-in was slow. We did not like the allocated room as it looked out onto an internal courtyard making it claustrophobic. There was no availability to change. The room was noisy from movement on the floor above. The room was not serviced properly. The bed sheets were not changed as per hotel policy. The kettle leaked. The TV/computer did not work properly. Check-out was very slow. We had one dinner in the City Cafe which was excellent.

The only bad point of the hotel is that the window of the room overlooking the railroad tracks, causing some noise, but it is reasonable and does not prevent sleep. The breakfast is expensive (16-24 €), but Starbucks is in the hotel. Everything else was perfect.

Good option to stay for a night. Little noisy but comfortable enough and well positioned for further trip.

Everything in Hotel DoubleTree by Hilton meet my expectation.

New and modern hotel very close to the Central Station. Rooms of good quality, but the cleaning of the room was done quite late in the afternoon at 5 p.m. Fantastic sky bar at the top of the hotel. I would like to return to this hotel.

I think DoubleTree attracts a diverse range of clients including tourists and business workers. I met a range of people from various parts of the world, some including America.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Doubletree, staff were very welcoming and courteous. Our room faced on to the railway line which gave some noise but nothing to complain about, we were given a choice of room and choose this one as it had a view of the harbour, would definitely stay here again and would recommend it highly.

make sure you have a room at the front of the hotel as the hotel is over the very busy train line and very noisey

Nice hotel that is convenient to the Amsterdam Centraal, and to the near-by business district. Many to do for dining and fun. Also very convenient to move to locations such as the Schipol airport and other cities. Good pricing.

Excellent staff and management. Superb location, better facilities. Lovely lovely hotel.

The service is not at the level it should be. Waiting for the rrom, waiting for the luggage, waiting for the breakfast. A shame because the hotel itself is OK
