We booked this room online for four people (2 adults and 2 kids). Our online receipt showed a price for 2 adults and 2 kids. However, the hotel tried to add per child charges once we arrived. They did honor our website price, but somewhat reluctantly. If there are additional charges for children, the website's final quote for the room should include those charges to avoid confusion at check in. We chose this hotel specifically because the website offered us a family suite. The additional kid charges would have been 45 Euro on top of the already pricey 189 Euro per night (pre-taxes).
Room Details
Dorint Sporthotel offers comfortable and very spacious guest rooms and apartments for 2 and 4 people, all with private bathrooms, shower, magnifying mirror and hairdryer. Moreover, the accommodation amenities include cable TV, radio, dial-up Internet access, direct dial telephone, mini bar, dining area, lounge and kitchenette. All rooms have either balcony, or terrace. Laundry service and ironing facilities area available on request. A free safety box is available at the reception desk. By carFrom Munich: take the A95 highway until the Eschenlohe exit. From there, drive towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen on the B2 federal road. Pass the town of Oberau and the tunnel in Farchant. At the junction, continue heading for Partenkirchen, stay on the main road and follow the signs to Partenkirchen, Mittenwald, Innsbruck. Just before the town exit, you will see the Dorint Sporthotel Garmisch-Partenkirchen on the left side, on a small hill.
