Hotel storico e molto bello, soprattutto negli spazi comuni. la stanza era bella, ma senza nulla di eccezionale; il bagno funzionale e moderno. L'unico problema è stato un certo chiasso notturno (la stanza affacciava su una strada con il Casinò e fino alle tre c'è stato movimento e rumore. L' hotel è proprio di fronte all'area pedonale e quindi al centro città. Tutto è raggiungibile a piedi. E' possibile fare colazione fuori, a due passi dall' hotel (il costo in hotel è elevato). Ritornerei sicuramente in questo hotel in occasione di altre visite a Weimar

Magninficent, refurbished period Grand Hotel with a lot of style, charm and comfort. Perfectly located to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the unspoilt centre of Weimar. The staff showed us great hospitality and consideration. The room was magnificent and very clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were absolutely superb. The underground parking is excellent and a must in this traffic-free town - an altogether unforgettable visit!

es gibt bestimmt viele, die sich sehr wohl fühlen würden in diesem fünf-sterne-hotel in weimar. für uns war der aufenthalt sehr skurril, weil das haus sehr feist ist, jedoch jeglicher stilsicherheit entbehrt. es wird versucht den alten luxus mit goldbesetzen plastikfenstern und circa 5 verschiedenen möbelsortimenten inklusive polstermustern in der lobby zu modernisieren. die zimmer sind sehr russisch mit wappen und dekadenz geschmückt. davon abgesehen schläft es sich ind em ruhigen udn sehr sauberen hotel sehr gut. jedoch vorsicht: wenn sie über venere den unschlagbaren preis von 86,-/nacht buchen, kostet jeglicher (auch ungefragter) service extra. wir haben uns spontan für eine übernachtung in weimar entschieden und haben dieses feiste intermezzo mit großem spaß verbracht.

The a hotel is nice but quite old fashioned. It was nice to think Franz Liszt visited it 150 years ago. Breakfast excellent but quite expensive (18 €), not included.

Very nice hotel in the center of the city. We stayed for 85 EUR in a double comfort room which was an exceptionally good bargain (the price list says 163-245 EUR).

I am very saatified with my stay at this hotel, very friendly personnal and very competent also. I love the surrounding right in the middle of the old town, I would certainly go back. I strongly reccommand this hotel

How to reach Derag Grand Hotel Russischer Hof
By car
From highway A4, continue towards Erfurt and Bad Hersfeld and exit at Weimar. Continue onto Berkaer Straße for 650 metres/0.4 miles following the indications to Rudolstadt, Weimar, Bad Berka and Gelmeroda. 3 km/1.87 miles after Weimar, turn left on Rudolf-Breitscheid-Straße. After 570 metres/0.35 miles, turn right into Humboldtstraße and then left into Steubenstraße/Gropiusstraße. Turn right into Heinrich-Heine-Straße and follow the indications to the hotel.
By train
From Weimar railway station, take bus number 1 or 7 directly to the hotel. Get off at Goetheplatz.
By airplane
From the regional airports, take the train to Weimar and continue by bus.
