Staff was not helpful at all. You can use the free internet at the lobby, but staff will not tell you about it even if you asked about the internet. Housekeeper came at 8 am! Of course I was sleeping. The door key was very difficult to open. The room was too dark for me. Supermarket was near there, but it closed on Sundays. There are minibar, kettle, tea bags and microwave oven. I cannot believe it is a 4 star hotel.

The Maximilian is a great hotel. The rooms are great like as apartamens with a small kitchen and SAT TV( SKY )free of charge and a small terrace. At the arrive we have found in minibar two beers and two mineral water free of charge, and a friendly staff. The Hotel provides two welness center with a beauty sauna and solarium. You can park the car close to hotel. The distance to center is five minutes by car. Overall,we recommend this hotel!!!!!!!!!!!

There wasn't an air conditioner in our room but just an electric fan. The characteristics of the hotel and the facilities described were a bit different. Good location and near the centre. Free parking place on the street. Breakfast was not included and the price per person was just a bit expensive.

Very good quality/price value (it was for a saturday/sunday night). A little bit off the city center, but within a 3-4 minutes walk to the bus/subway station and still within a walking distance to the old town. Excellent breakfast (not included in the price)in a nice room. Internet access is not free.

This was a nice hotel. Typical of many German hotels the heat was on way too high, but open windows helped with that. The breakfast offered is very expensive at 16 Euro. I only did that one time in 5 days. The other days I opted to eat breakfast at the Messe' since it was less expensive.

A conseiller vivement. Un petit peu excentré cependant par rapport à la vielle ville, "Innenstadt".

Unfortunately we arrived when the Nuernberg Trad efair was still going on, hence the price of the room was about twice the regular price. Otherwise, the hotel is well located and the room has been excellent.

Front desk staff could be better organised as well as the assistnace in getting the WLAN working! However, the restaurant and breakfast staff excelled themsleves. In particular, Mr. Coleman - he is a real professional and deserves a raise! Very friendly, helpful.

Only stayed one night here - luckily. We got a room in the dependance. The room was surprisingly spacy - actually it was a whole appartment BUT very dirty and poor old furnishings. Did not even want to sit on the sofa or touch anything like table, cutains etc... did not seem to be washed and cleaned properly for a long time. We were happy we only stayed one night - otherwise we would have left earlier. We stayed at the 2nd floor - very tiny stairs - no elevator!! usually no problem but not for a 4 star hotel (the 4 stars were shown on the hotel entrance). There were two bottles of water and two bottles of beer for free in the apartment which was kind and the breakfast was good as well. Still would not recommend the hotl and will definately not stay there again!!!

Very good hotel, nicely furnished, clean, competent and welcoming staff, excellent breakfast included. We were lucky to have one of the bigger rooms, you could almost call it a suite, the bed being separated from the room by shelves. The hotel is close to a tube station, only a few tube stops from the center. The neighbourhood is simple, not really pretty, but good enough to feel safe - seems to be the Greek quarter. For staying in a big city like Nürnberg, the hotel was a very good choice.

I was upset that this place does not have airconditioning. It wouldnt have been that bad had it not been hot and humid. And on top of that the hotel didnt have any fans. At least that would have helped with the open doors. And because we had to sleep with the doors open you could hear everything from the street below. Plus on our last morning after the World Cup, someone from the place next door came out at 7am and watered the plants next door and ours. It woke me up and I had just fallen asleep after the noisy night. Plus since it was so hot we didnt have clothes on and the doors were open so that person standing in the right place could see into our room. The bed was comfortable but it was not enough for me to want to stay there again.

Nice room and our stay was overall great. I will say the room smelled terribly of smoke (we requested non-smoking) and the bathtub had a disgusting dirt-ring around it. Luckily the breakfast buffet the next morning made up for it all! I would recommend this hotel to anyone and stay there again.

Easy to reach by car coming from the highway. I found a parking slot along the street directly near the property. The city center is two underground stops far from the hotel or you may go there with a ten minutes walking. Good breakfast even if the service was a little bit confused, may be due to the fact that the hotel was quite crowded

We were pleasantly surprised to find an equipped kitchenette, separate BR and lovely living room setting. Nice and spacious. Breakfast was very nice.
