wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer gebucht, mussten aber abends feststellen, dass man uns ein Einzelzimmer (mit Doppelbett) gegeben hatte. Ich reklamierte Bettzeug und Handtücher, erhielt vom Portier nach ca. 10 Minuten nur das Bettzeug und habe mir die Handtücher danach selbst an der Rezeption abgeholt. Ansonsten ist das Hotel zu empfehlen, Wasserkocher auf dem Zimmer, 2 kleine Mineralwasser und 2 Bier als Willkommensgruß - nette Geste! Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr reichhaltig und vielseitig. Gasteig und Muffathalle in gut 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.

the room we staid was very tight and we could hear every sound from the outside (but it was not so loud). but still it is very important that hotel is situated close to the center (10 min walking).

By car
From Stuttgart A8: follow the highway until its end. Cross the roundabout and drive straight along Verdistraße, then turn onto Menzingerstraße. Turn left onto Wintrich Ring direction Autobahn Nürnberg A8. Stay on this road, then follow direction Mittlerer Ring Ost and direction Autobahn Salzburg A8. Take exit Tucherpark on the right, then always straight. Turn left at the Ludwigsbrücke and cross the river Isar. You are now on Rosenheimer Straße. At the 3rd street on the right turn onto Hochstraße (there is a big red building on the left hand side of the street - the Gasteig culture center). Turn left onto Rablstraße. You will see the hotel after 100 metres on the right hand side.
From Nürnberg A9/Airport Franz Joseph Strauß: follow the highway until its end. Follow the Mittlerer Ring Ost in direction Autobahn Salzburg A8. By airplane
From Franz Joseph Strauß airport take the suburban train (S-Bahn) line S8 until Rosenheimer Platz. From there walk in direction Gasteig/Ladenstraße-Motorama (shopping center). You are now on the Rosenheimer Straße; after 20 metres turn right onto Schleibinger Straße. The hotel is in front of the MAHAG (Company VW).
By train
Take the S-Bahn line S1-S8 in direction Ostbahnhof. From there walk in direction Gasteig/Ladenstraße-Motorama (shopping center). You are now on the Rosenheimer Straße, after 20 metres turn right onto Schleibinger Straße. The hotel is in front of the MAHAG (Company VW).
