Don't forget to explicitly reserve a non-smoking room, mine was really stinking; needed to keep the window open for hours ... Sports: Running is very nice at the waterfront of the Rhine, which is really close; also the hotel's gym is well equipped.

Bonn cannot offer much (views, restaurants, anything really), so one considers his hotel like a haven. This one has two good things: the spa is excellent, with helpful staff (not hotel staff)and it comes free with your stay; the other good point is the italian restaurant next door (from basic to sophisticated food and generally good wines). The staff of the hotel need some better management and an extra effort to understand that in such a grey town an additional touch of warth is required.

How to reach Derag Livinghotel Kanzler
By carFrom highway A1, enter the A4 in the Olpe direction and follow the indications to Akr Köln Süd. Enter the A555, direction Bonn, and exit at AB Dreieck Bonn Nord. Follow the indications to Koblenz and take exit Bonn-Poppelsdorf-Richtung Zentrum. Follow Reuterstrasse across the Reuterbrücke and turn 180 degrees left past the Paralympisches Komitee. Take the next right into Buschstrasse.
By train
From Bonn's main railway station, take tram 16, 63 or 66, in the Bad Godesberg direction, line 67 in the Bad Honnef direction or line 68 in the Ramersdorf direction. Get off at the Museum König stop and walk for about 100 metres until the hotel.
By airplane
From Köln/Bonn airport, take the train to the Beuel railway station. Change to tram 66 or 67 and get off at the Museum König stop.
