Derag Livinghotel Henriette - Berlin

My stay at the hotel (8 days) was very comfortable, I was satisfied with my room, the quality of the service and the staff competence. All that for a very good price! In addition, the position of the hotel, close to very important sites and facing a subway station, made everything easy and fast. I surely recommend this hotel to everyone, expecially single travellers like me!

Wi-fi connection was poor and staff could not provide any help. Everything else was A+. Hotel is less than 100 feet from subway access. Very satisfied with our choice and stay.

I stayed there in mid-May 2011 for a couple of days while my husband was working in another part of the country. The hotel was very nice, especially for the price. The staff exhibited great customer service skills. The only issue I really had was the lack of cool air in the room. I had to keep the windows open, which led to the noise of the street below (one floor up - rooms booked online get that floor) permeating my room as I tried to sleep at night. I had ear plugs, thank goodness, but it would have been nice to not have had to use them.

Since the street is not absolutely quiet and there is no AC, one should maybe think before going to berd of setting the heating low enough and sleep with closed window. Otherwise, all perfect!

Very nice hotel and very near at the metro station. If i return in berlin it's my first choice. - L'hotel è comodissimo per raggiungere i punti più importanti della città con la metro U2. Ottima l'accoglienza del personale che ci ha consigliato cosa visitare. Bella e romantica la vista dalla stanza sui canali.

Very clean, excellent breakfast, efficient and helpful staff. Would be happy to stay there again.

This was a very attractive hotel in a traditional decor. The location is excellent with U-bahn right across the street. There are 4 restaurants closeby. For 60Euros a night, it was an excellent deal.

It was ok, very clean and big enough rooms. Only for 90 euros for a double room (why don't you have a real double bed room, but only twin bed close one to each other?) We expected internet free 24 hours ...but in the complex it was ok, close to the U-bahn and in a nice zone, very quite.

Everything in its right place. Hotel is exactly in front of metro station, and at walking distance from very important and nice places for both tourism and night time. Hotel very "simple", with very small public areas, and without a bar. But rooms are large and clean, well equipped and perfect (...even if my room was without bidet...). Excellent relationship between price and quality.

PROS: REALLY in front of the U2 bahn-station; very nice position, calm and clean. CONS: no breakfast included (very expensive if you want to add it..); no air conditioning in the room (you have to open the windows and in the morning you hear the traffic noise..)

Excellent value for the price. I would absolutely stay there again, but maybe just for a change try the Derag Hotel across the street.

The air condition was to noicy and had to little effect.

Located in a great area of the city, next to the metro station and to the most turistic areas. Excellent Breakfast. The overall stay was good.

We were a couple travelling with our toddler and this place was excellent for us. Our room was really spacious, comfortable, modern and clean. The attached kitchenette, complete with cookware and microwave is very convenient when you are travelling with kids. Washing machine and dryer available for a very reasonable price. Staff is really helpful. We reached Berlin early morning and since the room was not ready the front desk staff gave us a temporary room so we could freshen up while our room was being prepared! On another day, they volunteered to collect our clothes from the dryer so we could spend our morning sight seeing.The U-bahn is at your doorstep. Its excellent value for money!

Ottima posizione, fuori dalla fermata della metro (2 fermate da alexander platz). ottima colazione(varia e abbondante), possibilità uso sauna (presso hotel di fronte convenzionato) deposito bagagli, pulizia camera e sostituzione giornaliera asciugamani, cassaforte in camera, minibar a pagamento. Zona tranquilla. Ristorante indiano annesso ad albergo (menù disponibile in camera in inglese), abbstanza economico e personale cordiale. Ottimo hotel, pulizia aree comuni perfetta, disponibili cartine e reception 24 ore su 24. Consigliatissimo!

Location next to u Bahn station, within walking distance of Alexander Platz and Unter Linden. Quite surrounding area.

We had a wonderful stay here! Absolut good cost/service ratio. Very good Indian restaurant inside the hotel.

Good value for money and an excellent breakfast buffet. We would stay there again. A pity there was no bar in the hotel. Also the resturant only served Indian food - not ideal!

Good location U-Bahn in front of the hotel

The hotel itself is really quite nice. With the room we had, there was a tiny kitchinette, which would be fantastic if I were travelling with small children. Very little marked the hotel down. One being public areas. I know that I am lucky living in Ireland where is it illegal to smoke in many places. Often the hotel corridors were quite smokey. The other being the directions to the hotel. They could be better. If you take the underground, you need to take the U2 line and get off at "Markishes Museum" and you are right at the doorstep. What a lot of people didn't mention was the hotel restaurant. It was almost too good. I have never had such good food at a hotel restaurant, and certainly not at such a fantastic price.

Very convenient to public transportation and bus routes. quiet, clean, helpful staff

This hotels lists that it provides airconditioning on its webpage. IT DOES NOT. I spent one of the worst nights of the trip from being swarmed by bugs, sweating through my bed sheets and from very loud road noise. When asked by there was no air conditioning as listed. They said that I did not know how to read. I would not let my dog stay in this place.

The rooms are not really spacious.

All was ok.
