aussenansicht Borgo Sicelle, originally a small farm typical of the Chianti region, has been restored with care and respect for its original architectural structure.
It is in the heart of Tuscany and the perfect location for excursions to Florence (27 km), Siena (35 km), S.Gimignano (25 km), and pretty towns such as Castellina, Greve, Radda and Gaiole in Chianti. It is situated on the top of a hill in a panoramic position from which you can enjoy a wonderful view of the surrounding hills and the incredible Tuscan sunsets.
There are two different building both facing onto a courtyard. There are ten apartments (including one for the disabled) each sleeping from 2 to 6 people with a maximum number of 33. The apartments vary in size and most have wooden beamed ceilings and terracotta floors.
The pool with a view of an enchanting landscape, the garden, the common terraces with tables, chairs, sun beds and sun shades, the table tennis room and the covered terrace ….will all help to create a very relaxing holiday.

It will be a pleasure for Franco and his family, who live at Borgo Sicelle, to welcome you where you can enjoy a holiday of art, culture and good Tuscan food and wine!
Short stays of only 2-3 nights are also welcome and they will be at your disposal whenever you need information, brochures and museum/restaurant reservations.

Anreise Residence Borgo Sicelle

By car
We are at Sicelle, 10 km from (and under the borough concil of ) Castellina in Chianti. The nearest village is S.Donato in Poggio (3 km) with its shops, restaurants, pizzeria, banks and a post office.
We are 6 km from the highway exit of the Florence-Siena highway (superstrada) allowing convenient excursions to Florence (27 km), Siena (35 km), S.Gimignano (25 km), Volterra (50 km), Pisa (90 km), Arezzo (100 km), Lucca (110 km).
If you wish to drive around the Chianti area Panzano (8 km), Greve (18 km) and Radda (20 km) are a must.

If you are arriving from the North:

Take A1 Milano-Firenze motorway (autostrada), exit FIRENZE CERTOSA and follow signs for SIENA 4 CORSIE and leave it at S.DONATO exit.
Follow signs for S. Donato but don’t go into the centre of S.Donato but on the left side, follow signs for SICELLE, GREVE, PANZANO and you’ll find Borgo Sicelle.


If you are arriving from the South:

Take A1 Roma-Firenze motorway (autostrada).
Exit at VALDICHIANA and follow the signs for SIENA. Don’t go into the centre of Siena but follow the blu signs for the “superstrada” for FIRENZE and leave it at S.DONATO exit. Follow signs for S. Donato but don’t go into the centre of S.Donato but on the left side, follow signs for SICELLE, GREVE, PANZANO and you’ll find Borgo Sicelle.
