Die Lage ist eindeutig das beste am Hotel. Es sind nur wenige Gehminuten, zwei wenns hochkommt zum dazugehörigen Strandabschnitt. auch Bushaltestellen in alle Richtungen liegen nur wenige Schritte entfernt. Die Einkaufspromenade läuft links und rechts fast vom Hotel ab. Erreichbar ist das Hotel mit Bus und Taxi vom Bahnhof aus (Taxi ist allerdings teuer). Sehr hervorzuheben ist der Dachswimmingpool, er hat zwar keine olympischen Maße, eine Erfrischung bietet er allemal. Rund um den Pool kann man herrlich in der Sonne baden und der Rundblick ist einmalig, bis ins Hinterland und raus aufs Meer, über die ganze Stadt. Das Minus, der Service ließ sehr zu wünschen übrig, eine eher unterkühltes Verhalten des Personals am Empfang ergänzt von dem nicht gerade proffessionellen Service beim Frühstück. Zu den Zimmern bleibt noch zu sagen, Meerblick gibts leider keinen außer im obersten Stockwerk vielleicht. Sie sind sehr sauber, werden zweimal täglich geputzt bzw. in Ordnung gebracht. Die Zimmer neben dem Lift sind nicht gerade gut schallgedämpft man hört alles auch die Gäste die drauße vorbeigehen, außerdem laufen viele Wasserleitungen durch die Wände wo man das Wasser durchrauschen hört.
