Das Hotel wirkt etwas alt und muffig, hat aber Charme, besonders der Frühstücksraum und einige Zimmer sind sehr schön. Auch wenn mitgebucht, liegen die Bäder fast immer ausserhalb der Zimmer gegenüber des Flurs. Wir hatten die Wahl: entweder das gebuchte kleine Zimmer mit Bad (auf der anderen Flurseite) und Hinterhofblick, oder ein schönes grosses Zimmmer mit tollem Blick auf den Arno mit seinen vielen Brücken (aber nur mit Gemeinschaftsbad für 4 Zimmer) und entschieden uns für das zweite, auch wenn samstag- und sonntag morgens das Bad ständig besetzt und der Duschvorhang versifft war. Das Frühstück war ok, der Cafe sehr gut. Insgesmt empfehlenswert, wenn die Ansprüche nicht zu hoch sind.
