Anreise Hotel Axial

By car
From A1 highway, exit at Firenze Certosa, following the indications for the centre. Drive up the hill, on your left you'll see the Certosa Florence abbey. Cross then Galluzzo, straight on for a few kilometres, along an alley with gasoline stations. Turn right at the traffic light. At the second traffic light turn left into via Poggio Imperiale slopping down to Piazza di Porta Romana square. Pass under the arch of the medieval city walls, you just entered the via Romana. Straight on into via Maggio street, cross the Santa Trinità Bridge, straight on in via Tornabuoni. Pass a traffic light, than make a right turn at the second little street on your right side- just after the news stand - into via degli Agli street. Straight on in via dei Pecori –drive slowly, you are entering the pedestrian street - where you can see the Duomo cathedral in front of you. Turn right into the second street on your right via Roma, then straight on, turn the second left street in via degli Speziali street, then take again the second street on your left, via dei Calzaiuoli.

By train
From Santa Maria Novella train station, take the left exit. Then take the underpass and exit in via Panzani. Straight on in via Panzani, that will become via de' Cerretani, until you arrive at Duomo Cathedral. On the right hand side you will see via Calzaiuoli street. Hotel Axial is on the right hand side few meters ahead.
Alternatively, from the Santa Maria Novella train station, take the bus n. 23 and n. 14, and get off at Duomo stop.

By airplane
From Florence airport, follow the above driving directions (a 20-30 minute drive), or take the shuttle bus (in front of the Departures terminal) leading to the central railway station.

Near the Axial Hotel guests will find a reduced price garage where a valet service is ensured at anytime. Prices depend on the car size: small/big car pay about €24,00/30,00. Payment has to be done to the staff of the garage.
We remind you that access to the historic centre is supervised and is allowed only to residents and tourists.
When you arrive, the Axial Hotel can provide the permit for a free entrance into the historic centre, informing the authorities with your number plate.
