aussenansicht Our Agritourism (minimum stay 3 days))is an ancient rural lodge, embellished with a romantic hunting tower, situated at the edge of gentle uplands only 5 mls from the centre of Verona. It is surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and bushes, at an altitude of nearly 570 feet in a place of outstanding natural beauty.
At one time the property belonged to the Monastery of St. Mary in Organ in Verona, with leases going back to 1451, and in 1894 it came into the ownership of the present family. Both the land and the buildings have been restored accurately and sensitively, treating the landscape and constructions with great love and respect.
The salvaging of old ceilings and stone walls, the laying of floors in old terracotta tiles and the use of authentic 18th Century fittings, create an atmosphere of great serenity, warmth and refinement.
Thanks to the well thought-out room planning, customised furniture, the cultural atmosphere and the quality of the welcome, the facility offers the charm and elegance of a refined and exclusive country retreat.
By being welcomed directly into the house by the family, visitors will be able to share the cultural values of the owners, in a traditionally Italian lifestyle, which is respectful to the house, its layout and its natural feeling.
Three double-bedded rooms, one double, two carefully furnished two-room suites and four wide junior suites, offer a diversified and high-quality stay. Please note that it is not permitted to smoke inside the buildings.
The particular beauty of the place offers the opportunity for cycling, hiking and jogging among olive groves, vineyards and woods. Riding and golf can be attained in half an hour. Interesting enological and gastronomical experiences are possible at the wineries and oil mills of the area. Verona treasures are famous all over the world.

suite The facility enjoys the charm and elegance of an independently run boutique hotel or a refined country retreat, but the inherent luxury and sophistication of the house is tempered by the simplicity and tranquillising beauty of the magnificent natural setting.
All the rooms, the junior suites and the suites have visible wooden beams and old terracotta flooring tiles, and are furnished with original 18th and 19th-Century tables and wardrobes, refined curtains and other adornments. They are furnished with modern installations for heating and air conditioning and high-quality doors and windows to ensure security, heat insulation and soundproofing; all the floors and the walls are isolated with sound-proof panels.
Furthermore, every room is equipped with private bath with a wide shower and a hair-dryer, direct telephone, lcd television, free internet ADSL. All the rooms enjoy expansive and enchanting panoramas. The bedrooms are located on the first floor of the main building, and contiguous with the portion used by the owners. Four wide junior suites are located in the front area of the house; two of them are situated at the ground floor and enjoy independent access.
Two spacious two-room apartments “SUITE” on two floors have been laid out in a former hayloft, at the south of the courtyard. They have visible wooden beams and wide, full-length windows, which give a view on to gentle slopes of olive groves and vineyards. On the ground floor there are a functional cooking area and a comfortable sofa which can be easily transformed into a wide double bed. On the first floor, there is a plain bathroom and a spacious, oak-floored double bedroom, with a panoramic view and containing an 18th-Century wardrobe and a double bed incorporating a baroque, exquisitely hand-carved bed-head.

1. FROM VERONA: (gps: Via del Torresin)
- You follow the direction "BOSCOCHIESANUOVA -VALPANTENA"; - after leaving the city, AT THE 3RD ROUNDABOUT, you turn RIGHT into STRADA DELLA GIARA, following the indications "AGRITURISMO DELO" to NESENTE, NOVAGLIE and SAN FIDENZIO.
- AT THE NEXT CROSSROADS you proceed STRAIGHT [indication "AGRITURISMO DELO" - "NOVAGLIE"] into "Via Monsignor Carraro"
- AT THE ENTRY TO THE VILLAGE OF NOVAGLIE, you proceed TO THE RIGHT [indication "AGRITURISMO DELO"-->"SAN FIDENZIO"], into "Via Pradelle").
- AFTER A RISING SLOPE OF ABOUT 880 YARDS you turn RIGHT [indication "AGRITURISMO DELO" -->] into "VIA DEL TORRESIN". After a wide curve towards the left, the road continues straight for a short while, then through a beautiful descent into an appealing arcade of tree branches.
- AT THE END OF THE DESCENT, [indication "AGRITURISMO DELO"] you turn RIGHT on the UNMADE ROAD which leads to AGRITURISMO.

2. FROM THE MOTORWAY TOLBOOTH FOR VERONA EST: (gps: Via del Torresin)
- You follow the EASTERN BYPASS ("TANGENZIALE EST") in the direction of "VALPANTENA" (brown road sign) for 5 miles.
- ON LEAVING the motorway AT THE EXIT FOR "VALPANTENA", AT THE ROUNDABOUT, you turn TO THE RIGHT into "STRADA DELLA GIARA" following the indications "AGRITURISMO DELO", in the direction of Novaglie and San Fidenzo, as above.
