The building, set in a quiet and peaceful area, is entirely surrounded by a garden and a large private parking space. Part of the building has been turned into a residence and the other part is a B&B. Two terraces, each of approximately 250 sq.m., offer panoramic views of Arcetri astronomical observatory and the surrounding hills.

To start a good day guests will find an ample breakfast room with a rich salty and sweet buffet. The Wi-Fi Internet connection is available in the whole property and pets are welcome in the B&B.

We've been to Florence for 4 days to visit the city. We found the Argentiere to be very well suited for anyone who travels by car, since it is easily accessible from the motorway and they offer a huge parking space for free. And it's quiet around the hotel unlike the hotels in the center so you can sleep well after a long day. It is quite easy to get to the city center by bus, it takes about 10-15min and busses leave every 15min. The rooms were clean, friendly and most of all air-conditioned! Breakfast was nothing special, but fair enough. The staff was very friendly and helpful, although communication in English wasn't always easy. Something we liked very much was the free internet w-lan. We would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to spend some days in Florence, has a car and/or looks for a nice place apart from the inner city trouble!

Sehr freundliches Personal, schönes Zimmer mit Balkon und Fernseher, privat Parkplatz, gute Reinigung und Sauberkeit des Zimmers. Frühstück war einfach und von guter Qualität. Meine Freundin und ich waren sehr zufrieden und würden wieder in dieses Hotel gehen.

Wir waren 2 Nächte dort, hatten ein großzügiges, sehr sauberes Zimmer mit einem großen Balkon. Das Ehepaar, die das B&B leiten konnte zwar kein Wort englisch, aber die Verständigung klappte auch mit Händen und Füßen. Sie waren sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Sehr von Vorteil ist der private Abstellplatz für das Auto! Es liegt nicht ganz zentral, aber zu Fuß ist man in 20 Minuten im Zentrum und ein Bus fährt direkt vor der Tür. Ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, zumindest in der Nebensaison (April). Zu empfehlen und jederzeit würden wir doch wieder nächtigen!

From A1 Milano-Roma motorway exit at Firenze - Certosa toll gate and follow the signposts for the centre of Florence. Just 100 meters on the left turn into Via Borelli and you will find Argentiere B&B at the number 8.

By train
From Piazza Santa Maria Novella train station take the bus 11 in direction of Poggio Imperiale. Get off at Via del Gelsomino stop.

By airplane
From Florence Amerigo Vespucci airport take a taxi (15-20 minute ride) or a SITA bus from/to Piazza Santa Maria Novella train station. From there follow the indications above.
