I was VERY frustrated with venere.com & their relationship with the actual hotel. I called the hotel to confirm the reservations & ask a few questions & they had no record of the transaction. The whole chain had no record of me & my purchase! I had to re-purchase the room through Days Inn, directly! I'm waiting to be charged twice...I figure that will be next. VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH YOUR SITES SERVICE!! I was on hold twice for over 20 minutes & still never got a chance to speak with anyone to try & get this situation resolved.

When I arrived I was told I had already checked in-I was there to check in. I was given the key to a room that was already occupied by a "Dena Miller". They neither looked at or confirmed my reservation until after I told the clerk to check it. She asked when I had made it and then called to the other hotel and they did not have my reservation. I then showed her that I had made it online three weeks in advance. Meanwhile, my daughter was standing outside the wrong room waiting for my return. She gave up after 10 minutes and came looking for me with all luggage in tow. She was tired, hungry and cranky. I cannot blame her for being a bit out of sorts when she arrived in the lobby. I told them I expected a discount. They knocked $9 off a night. We were placed in a King size bed together in room poolside. I didn't care right about then as it was a late arrival. When I was trying to locate the U.S. Army base to get a pass I followed the directions which had me turning left at a left turn to nothing but woods. I made a U Turn to go to Ft. Benning Road. I am a "it's a bed and shower" kind of person anyway, but I was disheartened.

My husband and I travel a lot because both our children are Military. We purposely seek out Days Inn Hotels, because we have been so satified with them in the past. This was by far the worse one that we have ever stayed in. Bugs in the room, bathtub and towels had hair all over, the internet did not work, and I requested a microwave because I had my 4 year old granddaughter with me. There was no microwave in the room. We usually are not complainers and are easy to please, but this was unacceptable. We will more than likely shop a round a little more before booking our rooms for our upcoming North Carolina trip.

As soon as we arrived at the hotel (late because of lost luggage), I was greeted by the most uncourteous female desk clerk who would not let me and my family (all women)into the lobby area and we were left standing outside in the cold. Even after I told the desk clerk that I had reservations, she denied us access until I showed her my itinerary with the confirmation number. Being that it was late at night when we checked in, there were alot of people (mostly Hispanics) just hanging around which made us feel very unsafe. And when we got to out room, (2) Hispanic males tried to barge their way into our room, but we were able to close the door which had alot of play in it(door could not close properly). The same (2) Hispanic males kept trying to look into our room through the window which the curtain could not close properly (fastened together with tape to stay close). There were no shower curtain, the white bath towels were a beige color, the carpet made you barefoot turn black underneath, spider webs in areas of the room, no icebox (as stated), the coffee package to make coffee had numerous tiny holes in it. The whole experience was a huge disaster. We felt very uncomfortable and unsafe. We checked out of our room the first chance we got and checked into another hotel not too far away. This hotel is worst than a "pig stye". I would not recommend this hotel even to my worst enemy.
