This hotel was in a great location. Only minutes from Mirabell Park (the Sound of Music Park) and about a 10 minutes walk to the Old City. Right around the corner was Panoramic Tours which we also highly suggest. The hotel also has a nice pool, sauna and gym area.

Rooms were good. Food in hotel pub was average Austrian food-- decent. One of our rooms was next to the service elevator, which proved a bit noisy at 6am. Aside from that, hotel was clean and VERY well situated. Would recommend others to stay there.

I was VERY disappointed that the Pool and Spa where not in operation. THis was my last day in Salzburg and I wanted to take advantage of this. It was one of the reasons we stayed there.

By car
From motorway A1, take the Salzburg-Mitte exit in direction of Zentrum. After approximately two kilometres you will cross the Salzach River. Turn right at the first traffic light after the bridge. Pass a train bridge and turn into the third street on the left (Auerspergstraße). At the next traffic light turn left again into Rainerstraße. You will find the hotel on the right side of the street.
