Hotel Courtyard by Marriott Venice Airport - Tessera, Mestre

Great location for early flights out of Marco Polo Airport. No 5 bus stop outside hotel for those with a Venice Pass. One grumble - at this price there should be free wi-fi, at least in the lobby.

Good if you need to e.g. wake up early to catch a flight/bus from the airport like we did. Otherwise, I'd definitely stay in the city itself. There was some problem when we arrived as our reservation was including breakfast, but they said it shouldn't be included. We were offered the breakfast for free, as reserved, after showing our print out of our reservation. The room was spacious and quiet, but the surroundings are that of an airport hotel, there's really barely anywhere to eat. The staff spoke good English, the bus service to the airport was a bonus (although it's timetable very Italian) and there was a cheap bus to the centre running right in front of the hotel.

We booked this hotel because it was close to the airport and had a free shuttle to the terminal. We had an early flight and had read that leaving Venice in the early morning could be a bit of a hassle getting to the Piazzale Roma for the buses and taxis. This hotel was very modern and comfortable. We thought the restaurant was overpriced and asked for a recommendation for a restaurant nearby. The small cafe we ate at was very good and about half the price. Service at the hotel was excellent.

Perfect hotel for our final night and for catching an early morning flight. The shuttle driver even took us to a pizzaria for dinner because it was raining! The desk clerk was extremely helpful in telling us that our vaporetto pass was also valid for the bus into Venice... and we were ready to pay another fare.

A very convenient location near the Marco Polo Airport if you have an early morning flight. A lovely place, inviting and clean.

The room was clean with comfy bed, the front desk staff very helpful; gave me directions, and a good chauffeured car to take me to my meeting, very good breakfasts! I liked it, maybe 200euro a little on the pricey side but overall I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here because this was our last night before returning home and the hotel location was convenient for our car return and the airport. Our room was spacious and well appointed as one would expect of a Marriott hotel. The folks at the desk were very helpful as we wanted to return to Venice proper our last night and were able to purchase roundtrip city bus tickets at the desk; the bus stop was directly across the street from the hotel where we took a short ride to the Rialto bus station and walked to Piazza San Marco for our last hurrah.

The Marriott Courtyard is excellent!! Their location is VERY CONVENIENT for travellers waiting to fly out of Venice. Very close to the airport, the hotel provides a shuttle bus to the airport. The hotel accomodations and restaurant are great. Staff is very helpful and courteous. Highly recommend the Marriott Courtyard.

Very convenient to airport for early morning flight. Dropped rental car the night before, free shuttle starts at 5AM and takes only 2 minutes. Not much of interest around the hotel, but there is food available (pizza/panini) in attached business. Staff was very welcoming and helpful.

Cet hotel est à 2 minutes de l'aéroport et offre un service de navette qui nous a permis d'y être très tôt (5h00)le matin de notre départ. Confort et accueil chaleureux. C'est un hotel qui répondait tout à fait à nos besoins. Le prix n'incluait pas le petit déjeûner que nous avons pu prendre cependant à partir de 4h15 au coût de 10 Euros par personne pour un buffet américains (oeufs, bacon, etc...).
