While not close to the Metro/subway, it isn't too far to go to park at a station, if you can't wait until the shuttle leaves. There are many things to see in the area within 30 minutes of the property.

The hotel did not have our reservation made through Venere. I had all the paper work from the internet, but the staff had the attitude of, "oh well, that's your problem." We had booked for 6 days and there was only two days available. The staff was not at all helpful in trying to help us locate another place for the rest of our stay. They did not even suggest other places we could call. The lobby was not clean, nor was our room. We were very disappointed in the hotel. I contacted Venere by email, but since it was a Sunday, I didn't get a reply until Monday. Venere did offer to try and find us a place to stay.

Frankly we were concerned that hotel accommodation was so limited (National Police Week) that the only places available would be either extremely expensive or hotels nobody wanted to go to. Comfort Inn was neither and has a good shuttle service to Pentagon City, connecting easily to the excellent Metro service. Door to door hotel to downtown DC in 30 minutes flat was the norm.

The Comfort Inn at the Pentagon really suited us for a short stay in Washington recently. We stayed 3 nights and the fact that the inn had a good shuttle service to the Pentagon City Metro evry half hour was fantastic. The buffet breakfast was a bit below average I would say and the waffle machine looked a bit greasy and in need of a clean. The desk staff were very friendly and welcoming to us and my 1 year old grandaughter. Unfortunately the WiFi and on site PC were faulty during our stay so we had to rely on other means to keep in conatct with family in the UK.Overall our stay was enjoyable for the money we paid and if I was doing this type of trip again I would use the Comfort Inn.

Wir hatten eigentlich nur ein großes Problem. Beim Einchecken waren wir nicht im System gespeichert. Es hat dann sehr lange gedauert bis wir endlich ein Zimmer zugewiesen bekamen. Ansonsten war alles gut. Wir blieben nur eine Nacht, daher war es auch lästig, dass nicht alles reibungslos ablief. Man möchte die Zeit doch anders nutzen.
