Easy walk from metro and 10 min walk to old city or modern art museum. Nice and quiet lighted neighborhood. When you get off metro 6 walk across street and thru dirt parking lot. Turn left at first street and follow it to hotel with large dumpsters next to river. Seemed very safe even late at night but did not look like the best neighborhood. Shortcut to hotel. Restaurant seemed pricey, but it was a nice and friendly Hotel even if you have a car.

Comfort hotel is a 'motel' indeed. The location is too far from town centre and must take tram for 5 stops and you need to walk for few minutes from the tram station to the hotel. It's hard to find out the location of the hotel because it's inside small and quiet streets. The room is quite small especially the very small bathroom that you can hardly wash a cup. Very noisy that you can hear the noise from the upper floor and the corridor. Don't choose rooms near the service room because every morning the housekeeper will wake you up by taking the things from the service room making big noises. However the good points are good manner of receptionists and acceptable cleaniness of rooms. Most of all low room rate.

Hotel rooms are small but perfectly clean, and the comfiest bed i have ever stayed in!! everything you need and nothing you dont. service fom entering the hotel was brilliant, the man on reception was more like a tour guide giving information on everwhere to go and the evening meal was very tasty and wonderful service from a very charactful waiter. Definitly stay again and highly recommended at a great dicount price from venere, paid 45euro was 75euro in reception. Good location. If you want to go visit the city center, ask the staff for a tram map, they'll be so kind to provide you one for free. You can buy the tram tickets at the nearest tram stop, which is about 550m distant from the Hotel (6 mins on foot). Be warned that on the way back, if you walk at night, the streets are not very well lit. Not a problem though, the neighboorhood is friendly and tranquil.

The Hotel was indeed quite welcoming and the guys at the reception are very accomodaing. Breakfast layout was reasonable and the free parking and wi fi are a plus point. The place is a quite a distance to the central of Strasbourg, but a slow and scenic walk by the river for about 25 minutes could get you there. As said, the guys at the reception doubled as waiters at times were pretty patient and accomodating.

OK, I have to say that this Hotel is a HIT (price/accommodation).The hotel is well situated, no in the city centre but very close to it, you will have a 15 min walk or if you prefer, the Tram-Bus station is 4 block away. The Gentleman at the reception was very friendly, as soon as we arrived, he gave us free map and a lot of tips, recommended places to visit and also told us that, a 24h unlimited transportation for 3 people will be possible with a just 5,20 Euro ticket. The Hotel is not a five star but for the price is a place I'll come over again without a doubt. They also offer free internet in the rooms if you cannot live without it,a flat tv screen with plenty of channels. The rooms are small, but if your stay there is just for a sleep, they are the perfect size. Something many people will not like or better said, will not find attractive, is that the rooms do not have Air condition, for us it was not a problem, we left the window the whole night open and problem solved. This is just the case of hot summer nights. The hotel is located in a quiet place near to the river, with no traffic at all or disturbing noises. I can definitely recommend this Hotel for a casual traveller whose not to picky when choosing a place to stay.

All would have been perfect if the motorway had not been so close. Despite the anti noise screen, it is relatively noisy, and you can't keep the windows open. No noise when the windows are closed. It would be much better to have a room on the other side. Very well situated to ride downtown with a bicycle.

Very welcoming and knowledgeable staff who all spoke good english. The rooms were cleaned and tidied daily and the restaurant was very good, with a varied menu. Strasbourg is either a ten minute walk away via a riverbank path, or five minutes by tram which stops approximately 200 metres from the hotel so the location was ideal for us as we did not want to park in the city centre. Will definitely stay here again and would fully recommend.

Receptionist was very polite and gave us information on the city and events. The walk from the hotel to the city center is rather nice by day (through park and gardens on the quay of the river). We stayed on the outskirts of Strasbourg at this hotel and found it very convenient. Only a short tram ride or a 15 min walk around the river and with free parking was great. I found the staff very helpful and nice and the rooms contained coffee and tea making facilities which are not common throughout a lot of european hotels. The price for a double room was excellent for the location although a family with young children would not find it convenient as we needed 2 rooms - one for us and one for our children.

The hotel has its own parking lot, it's located very close to the tram station (2-3 minutes walk) or one could walk to the old city centre (25 minutes). However, it is rather close to the highway too so one could fine this disturbing especially with a room at the highway-side and during summer. Although our room war rather small bed was really comfortable and equipped with soft feather duvet, pillows and feather-top mattress. Bathroom was clean, towers were changed every day and the room was vacuum-cleaned. The wireless internet was free of charge.

We hired two rooms, one I shared with my wife. We all loved the hotel. the price is great and the beds are fantasticlly comfortable. One would want to be in it forever. The surouning is ok some say it is quite niosy but not really true. It is quite and lovely. the room space is not big but it is the same in any other hotels in France I have been to. The bathroom is very clean. The hotel is located bit outside from the center of Strasbourg but is 10-15 minutes away from it if the tram is used. you have to walk 5-8 minutes from the hotel to the station of the tram, which can get you almost any part of the city. The hotel has nice breakfast and restaurant. It also has wifi internet free of charge, though I would encourage the owners to improve its streangth in every room as it was very week on the second floor rooms. One more thing I could recommend to the host is to change the corridor lights. It is so uneasy to look for them while your hands may be busy with bags. Use movement detector instead of the mechanic switches. Overall it is great value of money and you can be sure to get the cleaniest room. I fully recommend anyone to stay in the hotel.

My wife and I stayed in Stassburg for 3 nights. The hotel is an excellent choice for tourists and business people alike. It's located away from the busy and confusing centre of the city, near the highway. It's a 30 min walk into the historic downtown or you can take the tram from a station barely 5 minutes away. The reception desk staff are competent and friendly (and speak English) although thay are not available 24 hours. The restaurant onsite is an excellent choice for dinner. If you are a budget traveller there are several other places to eat on the way downtown, including a Lebanese donair store that sold awesome donairs for 3.50 Euros (very cheap compared to other options). The rooms come equiped with a kettle and coffee, tea and cookies. The one thing that took some getting used to was the fact that hallways were often pitch black in order to concerve electricity. You have to hit a light switch to activate the hallway lights which are on a timer and go off automatically.

Accurate description in internet - near a noisy highway but not a problem, at least on the "quiet side" of building. About 20 minutes walk into center of city, but very pleasant, along the river. HOtel is in a residential area. Nice staff, good and plentiful breakfast (could use real coffee, not instant from a machine). Only dislike was the dirty carpet in room - needed cleaning. Otherwise, comfortable, clean and good price/value. I guess most visitors are budget or overnight-by-car travellers.

This hotel is a great location for a Strasbourg visit, especially if you have a car that must be parked ( here it is free). It is a delightful walk along the river into the centre of the city ( about 35 minutes to the cathedral), and the wonderful Tram service gets you back and forth inexpensively and quickly. You get what you pay for, this place is equivalent to a MOTEL 6 in the States, but add in an overpriced restaurant. Staff is indifferent and not very helpful beyond the obligatory directions (after a tour of the city trying to find the place), a city map with some suggestions and that's it. I was not impressed with Strasbourg or the residents. Very touristy, I'm sure there are better places to visit nearby. More German feel than French.

The level of the hotel is nearer to a three star than a two one. It is situated close to the highway but the insulation is good; probably in summer, opening the windows, the noise can create some problem. It is possible to reach the centre of the city by walking 15 minutes along the river or in 5 minutes by tramway (stop at 3 minutes walking: very easy!

The hotel is more of a motel style but really close to the town via the tram. The rooms are quite small but great for the price.

My stay in the "Comfort Hôtel Montagne Verte" of Strasbourg was excelent even if the breakfast was a little bit expansive.

it`s easy to find "montagne verte", but not so easy to find the hotel. Rooms are small but clean.

I think it's a good place to stay beside it's very cheap. It's is very quite too (near a park if you wish run or walk) On the other hand, the breakfast is expensive, 8€ but you can go outside to do it.

We found the hotel Montagne Verte, Strasbourg basic but good value. The staff were friendly, and the rooms clean and comfortable. The site map was very misleading as it took us into the centre of Strasbourg (the hotel is in the outskirts with a 15 minutes walk into the centre). It took us nearly 2 more hours to locate the hotel, with two children this was not pleasant. However the hotel staff were very pleasant and welcoming. We felt much better after a lovely dinner which was also of a good price.

Friendly welcoming, comprehensive breakfast buffet. Overall very good price/quality relationship. The room was a little bit small, but it did not really matter to us. Highly recommended for anyone who is not keen on a hotel with many stars.

It was a great offer: 30 Euros per night for a double room! But there was a hidden fee: 2x breakfast for 8 Euros each. O.k. 46 Euros over all is a good price, too...

The map given was completely wrong - it suggested the hotel was in the centre of Strasbourg where I ooked at it whilst it was actually a 10 Euro taxi ride outside.
