Just few minutes´ away from the beach,the Kastel boardinghouse welcomes you amids its centuries-old stone walls,offering you authentic Istrian atmosphere.The well known tourist centre of Poreč is just 8km away.
It is situated in the centre of the picturesque village of Kaštelir,in the western part of Istria,close to the church.During the renovation of the ancient building great attention has been paid to every little detail in order to preserve the traditional atmosphere and to make your stay really special.There is a restaurant on the groun floor,offering typical Istrian cuisine.The guest rooms on the first and second floor are calm and inviting places to spend peaceful nights.

Wir fühlten uns von ersten Moment an geborgen und in vertrauter familiärer Athmosphäre. Es wurde alles getan, damit wir uns wohlfühlen. Durch die von Zentrum Porec`abgelegene Lage war es wohltuhend ruhig. Die Küche war nicht touristisch, sondern herrlich kroatisch.Preis -Leistung standen in einem angemessenen Verhältnis. Im Vergleich zu anderen Angeboten waren die Preise eher günstig. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

My original intention was to find an accomodation in or very near to Porec.I'm very happy to have " discovered " this little hotel some 10 Km north of the town.Clean and quiet. I recommend their restaurant,mainly based on local products.
