For a last minute trip to spend , we were pleasantly surprised with the room and the neighborhood. The room was spacious compared to other hotels I've stayed at in Paris. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was great. The staff was very informative and helpful. It was a nice 10-15 minute walk to both the St. Michel restaurants and bars and rue Mouffetard. The metro stop Luxembourg was just a few blocks away. It was VERY convenient to get to and from the airport! Just one train! We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely rebook on our next trip to Paris.

Very happy with cleanliness and location of hotel. Easy bus access with two buses on route. Very courteous staff. Ten to fifteen minute walk to Notre Dame Cathedral where there are many places to eat. View of the Pantheon from our window was nice. Would stay here again.

This hotel was in a very conviently location to walk to the river and surrounds. Luxemburg Gardend and Norte Dame. Close to the metro. The room was small to store luguage. Overall it was a good choice for us as a couple.

Me and my friend stayed one night two times on our way to and from the Loire valley, both times in different twin rooms, both rooms were very nice, clean and well furnished. We also liked the area a lot, just five minutes walk from the jardin du Luxembourg and from Rue Mouffetard! We would surely come back again!

The first room we had was terrible beyond words - it was claustrophobic in the extreme - everything was brown - walls, floor, bed, there was a massive circular area taken out of the room by the stair well, it looked out onto a grey brown wall just 12 inches (30cm) from the window. the experience was like being in jail, and we HAD to upgrade to a very overpriced room.

Good hotel, pricey but in Paris to have some confort you have to pay. Funny instruction in booklet let in room, it's forbidden to eat in the room! Internet in rooms is not free, that's the only bad point. But it's clean and well located, quiet, next time I'll be back to this hotel.

An excellent adress with a great rate price Vs quality. The situation is also perfect at 5 minute walk of a metro and luxembourg garden. Recommended!

3 stars, so don't expect minibar, bathrobe, slippers or little bottles of bodylotion :-). I had a small single room with NO daylight, but I guess double rooms will be on the street side. Bathroom was marble & clean, just a shower, no bath. Lots of noise from the other rooms. Everything in working order (phone, new tv, wifi). Reception staff is incredibly friendly & helpful. Breakfast = ok (juice, coffee/tea/, milk, yoghurt, some cereal, some meat, some cheese, croissants!, rolls, bread, fresh fruit salad). Again: don't expect champagne, salmon, scrambled eggs or sausages, it's a continental breakfast! All in all, you could find worse in Paris for this price (online conditions, not "official" price...) Lively area (universities)

Excelente location, near RER Louxemburg, Boulevard Saint Michel, Rue Moffetard, Pantheon, etc. The rooms were small, as expected, but clean and coasy.

We ordered a family-room with four beds. It was an extremely small room for that number of beds. All to small for a family of four. Poor and expensive breakfast in a dark room in the cellar. We had our breakfast in a cafe nearby for half the price. The cleaning was OK.

We have visited Paris many times and have mostly stayed in the left bank. We knew the rough location of the hotel and were surprised how close it was to RER Luxembourg. The Hotel is only a short walk from the train station (even pulling a case). We didn't eat breakfast in the hotel as the weather was good and we prefer to be sitting in the sunshine rather than being indoors. There are plenty of good restaurants a short walk away around the Place de la contrescarpe area and we also chose that area to breakfast. In the evening fixed menus varied from 11-23 euros for 2/3 courses. House wine was around 15-18 euros a bottle and we even discovered some bars with happy hours 3 euro for a pint of lager/ 4 euro for a cocktail. Paris doen't have to cost the earth. Down off Boulevard St Germain there are plenty of good value restaurants too and I would recommend a visit to any of them around Rue Gregoire de Tours. You'll be spoilt for choice. We'll definitely be back at Andre Latin Saint Michel, hopefully soon!

Walking distance to the latin quarter, offering good places to eat or drink, having been to Paris before i was expecting a small room but this was hardly big enough to find a space to put our suitecases, the bathroom although clean was so small you had to close the door to move, I question that the room size had something to do with the rate offered (91euros) back in Januuary....It could have been worse !

Recently renovated, all is new, although the street is noisy the rooms are quite quiet. Very close to the Luxemburg gardens (which was great since we went jogging every morning). A note to tourists, I'd like to highly reccommend a little bistro named Les Papilles in the same street as the hotel, on #30. There's no fixed menu, each day there's a single & different menu, lunch and dinner, no breakfast. They have excellent wine at good prices, the food is AMAZING ad the staff and owner were very nice. Price was 31EUR per person for a whole dinner (entree, main, formage, desert). Please note you have to make a reservation at least a day ahead since the place is small and popular.

The rooms were a bit small, but big enough for a weekend away. Location ideal. Within 10 minutes of Notre Dame and 2 minutes of main metro stop.

The hotel is great: clean, recently repaired (suites have new bathrooms, owing nothing to other chains of hotels) and great location with good service and reasonable price (for a single room I payed 75 euros/day). Breakfast costs 12 euros and is charged separately. And they have an elevator (some hotels in Paris don't...). The hotel was recently renewed. I stayed in a single's room, small, but with enough space for a wardrobe, a decent table and chair to use my laptop and a bed larger than single, but not as big as a couple's bed. The service in the front desk is very nice: polite, speak italian and english, give good assistance. Internet was only accessible in the lobby and cost 5 euros, but with good speed. The breakfast has many choices, but takes some time for the ladies to refill and clean the tables. Everyday someone had to go to the kitchen door and ask for bread, or knifes, or something that was missing. But they were very solicit and attended us right away. Good cost/benefit!

Rooms are very little but very clean and very nice in furniture. The bathroom surprised me: it was larger than i expected and, as the rest of the room, the furniture was very nice. The only defect was the distance from the metro: in Paris you could find out place very much closer to the metro... If you look for a room to sleep, while you spent your day around the city, this one is very good!

Very good location, good quality hotel - clean and nice. My room was tiny, but perfectly fine is a budget accomodation in the center. I got a room at the ground floor and felt somewhat uncomfortable being separated from the street by window only (with an ecran so i was not visible though), but other than that the hotel is a very good deal

It was my first time in the hotel André Latin Saint Michel. Overall stay was very nice, although the room was tiny, no tea pot or coffee maker, no minibar. The hotel is located very close to Luxembourg park in the heart of Latin quarter, in walking distance from Monparnass.

Clean hotel in a convenient location near Jardin du Luxembourg. RER station a few blocks down takes you directly to the airport Everything in the hotel is fair: price, comfort, service. For Paris it is a good value and I liked the location as this is my third time in the city and I wanted to stay near St. Germain des Pres (have stayed on the other side of the river previously).

This is an excellent hotel for the price. Terrific location - countless restaurants, shops, sighseeing just outside the hotel door. Our room was small, but well thought out, especially the bathroom. Very helpful staff. We love Paris and visit as often as possible. We will be delighted to stay at this hotel again.

Esperienza positiva e consigliata.

My wife and I were very excited to find this hotel, € 70 looked like reasonable price for a place in this location. But recent hotel renovation and air-conditioning were two main factors that helped us to book this hotel. Staff was OK. Although, when I called to the reception and asked for a second towel, they said: sure, come down stairs and pick it up. (That was kinda new for me…) But the biggest disappoint was the size of the room and window to… a wall. It was a joke! For this price in this location and the cleanliness of the room, I would stay in this hotel again, but NEVER in the same small room.

Great value for money. Situated very close to Latin Quarter and Pantheon, on a quiet street. The room was very clean and nice, size comparable to other Paris hotel rooms; the rooms were newly refurbished and the bathroom as well. Staff was very friendly and useful. We did not have any meals at the hotel so we can't comment on this. Would recommend this for anybody who wants to be close to the Latin Quarter to enjoy its vivid night life whilst keeping within the budget.

The hotel was clean and easy to find from the train. Nice neighborhood. However, the walls are very, very thin and you will definately hear crying babies or noisy neighbors. With no carpet, we heard the person above us pacing the floor all evening...We did not take the train to sightsee, so this was not a convenient hotel for us...however, nice and quiet neighborhood.

We had a very pleasant five day stay. We were very comfortable, very well located for sightseeing and reasonably-priced eateries. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the air-conditioning a blessing in temperatures of 30+. Desk and technical staff were excellent. Cleaners were also good, but it might be better if their store was not just beside the breakfast area.

I've been to paris 5 times and I love this wonderful city. We liked this hotel: receptionists were very kind, the room was clean and comfortable, the location is great (only five minutes walk from the metro and 15 minute to the Latin Quarter). I really recommend this hotel.
