To find the address/hotel was quite impossible - there is no sign to find the hotel hidden in the back of some stores and without a direct access from the Route Nationale; the GPS-directions to the hotel stored in the master-data (from a 2011 Audi-system)were misleading and indicated a point appr. 2 km away;

What we like is a hotel en route for just the one night where we can have a comfortable sleep, a meal in their restaurant before going to bed and a good breakfast before we leave and continue our journey. This hotel offered all this at a reasonable price for medium quality facilities.

We were quite late arriving due to being unable to find the hotel. We drove past it a couple of times and would have liked better signposting. However, the food was first class and the staff most helpful.

Regretably, we had to check out after one night of our two night booking [ my wife was unwell and we returned to UK a day earlier than planned] My limited French language and the very limited English language understood by the reception staff made it difficult to explain our position. I understood the cancellation policy but hoped that I would not be charged for the second night in the circumstances. However, after a very confusing and frustrating exchange, we left paying only one night and at this point in time, it apears that the cost of our second cancelled night was not charged. I am grateful to the hotel staff for this gesture and I regret the apparent heated conversation at the time which was entirely due to the language difficulty.
