Hotel Boréal Nice - Nice

The shower facilities were poor. There was no stand up shower. You had to sit in a small bath and shower in that position. There was no English language news channel on the TV.There was no lifts to our 3 rd floor rooms, ok for us but less able could struggle. Other than these we have no complaints and enjoyed our stay.

The triple room was quite small, but clean. Very comfortable position both for the railway station and the city centre. I'd suggest this hotel for a short staying.

The hotel staff were very helpful during our stay and the overall experience was good. The hotel is centrally located to allow you to access the main parts of Nice; the tram stop was at the end of the street. Everything was within reasonable walking distance. The room was fairly quiet and air conditioned and I would recommend it to anyone for a short stay in Nice.

NO lift in some sections of hotel so that could be a problem since hotel is 5 floors. We had to carry suitcases up 3 flights.clean hotel in good location to the beach area,many restaurants and shopping nearby.Very attentive front desk staff

I stronly reccomend this hotel. Is cheap, very well located, with free wi-fi, excelente breakfast and excellent quality of service provided.

The warm welcome when arriving the hotel marked the hotel standard. Very good! I do recommend this hotel to anyone wanting simple, quality accomodation.

Rooms were small but contained all that was necessary for a short stopover (2 nights). Staff were delightfully friendly and helpful, and downstairs public area was very comfortable and welcoming.

There was not elevator to go with heavy luggage to the third floor. There was not free internet. Other hotels of this category offer free internet with Wi-Fi. Very expensive internet (15 Euros for 10 hours). Taxi to the Airport arrives with a delay of half an hour. The rest of the things quite good.

The staff took a very trying time in getting to the hotel because of street construction into a very pleasant experience. They where the to help us with any question that we had. Location was much better than expected. The room was a little compact, but very well done. Would stay there again without hesitation. It is the best of any Venere reservation we have made.

A clean and quiet hotel situated not far from the old town, shopping centers and the beach. The staff were polite, kind and helpful. I will like to visit the hotel again and recommend it to friends.

Good clean hotel. Bathroom looked modern and new. 3 bed room was spacious for 2 adults and a 2 year old to run arround. Close to a main shopping street, mid way between railway station and sea front. Great chocolate shop for snacks and breakfast 50m. Would recomend hotel if you do not need a lift to get upstairs.

Nous avions réservé une chambre pour 3 personnes. Elle n'était pas spacieuse du tout. Difficile de circuler, trop étroite. 1 seule table de chevet. La salle de bain était également très petite, pas de place pour poser les affaires de toilette. Pas de rideau de douche. Le linge de toilette n'était pas net. Décevant pour un 3 étoiles... et le prix ne nous semble pas justifié. Nous ne le recommanderons pas.

A bit far from the sea

As the hotel was fully booked, the room was delivered too late for me (after 1pm). Wide cleam room, good air conditioning, price with Venere significantly lower than displayed in the room, good breakfast. Conveniently located half way between railway station (good connection with airport) and the Old Nice,

A pleasant hotel with excellent staff and location. The room was small by any standards, the bathroom could have been cleaned better,and in this day and age not to have tea and coffee facilities in the room was just penny pinching on their part.However, would stay again, but would take a kettle!!

This hotel was fantastic. We paid 88euro per night and the room was absolutely spotless and cleaned and towels changed every day. No negative comments whatsoever i would definitely recommend this hotel.

We chose this hotel on the basis of other reviews we had read on these pages and the room exactly matched our expectations. Although small, it was kept very clean and tidy and had a great central location. We were within walking distance of all that we wanted to see and do. The room faced onto the street and with the extra traffic because of ongoing roadworks it could be a little noisy in the mornings but not enough to affect our stay. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to take advantage of Nice without wanting to spend a fortune on hotels.

The hotel was very clean, the rooms were quite small but that was not really a problem. I cannot fault anything about this hotel.

Although generally happy overall with the hotel and the friendly staff, I felt the location was not as described. The description 500m from the beach was not accurate.

I'n many ways "good value for money". Very clean and not noisy at all, (my room facing the street). Maybe, the breakfast could be "upgraded" a bit.

Clean but shabby walk up with bags and no assistance offered. I thought the Comfort chain would be a reliable indication of better quality.
