Staying in a King suite you would expect to have a fairly nice room. To start, the lobby had a weird smell all the time, the person in the front desk was not welcoming and did not know how to give the total of the price of the hotel with taxes, she wanted a signature without an explanation. The room was dusty, the sofa was torn, the carpet and bathroom floor were dirty with stains, the mini refrigerator did not work (despite a complaint), and the hotel does not have an ice machine on site. On the positive side the room was very spacious, with a good location. Lastly, be prepared if you have a car to not find parking or pay for parking every where you go.

The room was huge and very clean. The bathroom was also large. My only complaint was the street noise, but it's Miami so it was to be expected.

My boyfriend and I spent just one night, on the 9th February 2008. We are not really satisfied about the quality/price relationship. The room was old style, with a broken cupboard rather than a suitable TV support. The carpet looked not very cleaned - especially under the bed - but all the rest seemed to be ok. The bathroom was OK but all the complimentary items you can see in the Venere picture are not provided. By the way, there's enough room in the room we were given (no. 205), the personnel is very kind, and there aren't serious reasons not to suggest this hotel. Just keep in mind that it may be difficult to sleep since it is centrally located (with its pros and cons). All around there are valet parkings and parking to be paid on an hourly basis.

Authentic South Beach style hotel, that needs renovation. The room was large (we had one of the King rooms), but the drapes were coming off their tracks which gave it a cheap motel feel. We had to request that a light bulb be put into the bedside lamp, which did not improve our impression. Some of the windows did not quite close, so the noise from the street leaked in. The bathroom was spacious, such that you had to remember to move the towels to near the shower/tub so they would be handy when you needed them. The rack rate on the back of the door was $1,000! I guess the location trumps quality. It did make us feel that we had got a "bargain" at $199. We skipped the included breakfast which was mostly cold cereal and reconstituted juice in the hotel lobby and went to the Front Porch Cafe on Ocean Drive instead. We would definitely go to South Beach again, but not stay at this hotel.

The room and location were perfect. The only down side I would mention is that there were no guest services. They did offer a continental breakfast in the morning which of course was limited, however, we didn't even have phone book in our room to order out. So, no room service, no pool, really no amenities which surprised me. That being said you are so centrally located that there was plenty to walk to.

We were disgusted with this hotel. I thought that for over a hundred dollars a night you should be able to get a hotel that had clean pillow cases on the beds. First thing we had to get a clean one. The hotel was old and ran down.

the only problem is about the cleaning of the room...the housekeeper only replace the bed without clean the room at all!!!!

This hotel is in an excellent location in South Beach but needs some improvement. Bathrooms are old and carpet looks old and dirty. Will be better to upgrade the hotel and charge a few dollars more than to have a hotel that the quality could by one star or lower.

I stayed in one of the suites. The rooms are pretty big and nice looking. It is definitely a good bargain for the price. The only problem is that there is a noisy disco nearby. The windows in our room seemed to have some sound protection, though. I managed to sleep well after I got used to the noise. I wouldn't reccommend this hotel if you are a light sleeper.

You can't beat the price for the location. Saw a couple of roaches outside the hotel. The rooms are small, but we were lucky to get parking in the parking lot right next to the hotel.

The room smelled heavily of air freshener, obviously to mask other smells, the toilet and the shower had almost no water pressure and the front desk clerk charged me for someone's elses 3-night stay on my credit card (we stayed only 1 night). This was handled well by the manager and rectified before we left. The staff were friendly and accomodating. We love your website! Kathy
