Comfort Inn & Suites Bell Gardens - Bell Gardens, Los Angeles

No heated pool.. Broken hot tub.. Booked 2 kings Beds.. Wasn't available at the check-in :-(( damp room..unpleasant smell >,<~~

This hotel is located in a run down area of town. Upon arriving, I found the rest rooms in the lobby locked so they can't be used by vagrants. NO good places to dine unless you like MacDonalds, KFC, iHop, or Applebees. Our room was on the first floor and the window was about 10 feet from the main street, which was more like a freeway. VERY noisy all night. We asked for but couldn't get another room. The walls and floors are very thin. I was up till 1am because the people in the room above us walked and stomped around like a herd of buffalo. The carpets in the hallways were filthy and the pool was next to the parking lot. We left as soon as we got up. I didn't read any negative reviews so I thought this would be a good hotel to stay in as we had to be at LAX early in the morning. I wouldn't stay here again if it was free. My 12 year old daughter summed it best when she said the hotel and surrounding area were "creepy and scary".

Hotel of excellent location, of very good quality, with rooms wide, clean and silent, and of easy access, and with great price and with a great breakfast (breakfest).

Very clean, they are doing renovations so it should get better. Area is nice and safe, pretty close to Downtown LA, I would stay there again for the price and location.

On the website it said that there would be a computer or computers for guests to use and there weren't any. We had to keep asking for extra wash clothes and one night the front desk said they didn't have any wash clothes and we should use a face towel. They also didn't really have many channels on tv to watch and most of the channels we had came in fuzzy or the sound was bad. Other than that everything was fine. Rooms were clean.

Excelent, good service. I just did'nt like that fat blond lady at the front desk, she was very rude.

I've stayed at other places in the immediate vicinity and this hotel is substantially better in regards to room size, quietness, appearance, and value. I stayed for three nights and was very impressed. The hotel was being remodeled which improved the appearance of the public areas. The hotel is co-located in a shopping center so there are restaurants and shopping available within a very short walk across the parking lot.
