We were in London for six days and our stay at the Comfort Inn was very pleasant. The room was small but very clean. The bathroom was exceptionally clean and well appointed. The hotel was near Victoria Station and we could hear the trains constantly but we didn't mind . They actually put us to sleep at night!! The hotel was conveniently situated to trains and underground and there were many good restaurants in the vicinity. We would definitely stay at the Comfort Inn again when we visit London.

It is difficult to give a proper rating for the review because it depends where your room is located in the hotel. Initially we were on the first floor directly above the train tracks. It was impossible to sleep and at that time we regretted booking at this hotel regardless of the great location and reasonable price. As soon as another room became available we were moved to a higher floor, where the noise of the trains was not so overpowering, and at that point we were very satisfied with the room, and happy to be at this hotel. So we had two completely different experiences during our stay, and would return to this hotel only because of the more pleasant second half. The hotel should offer ear plugs or a white-noise appliance for those people unlucky enough to be given rooms 106 or 107.

Havingbeen to London many times before this was my first stay in Comfort Inn Buckingham Palace Road. The hotel is exceptionally clean, the rooms ,public areas etc.The staff are extremely polite and helpful,we were able to leave our luggage on our last morning to go last minute shopping. The room was really clean and comfortable but on a lower ground floor, would have preferred a higher one.Overall it was a good hotel.

Good location, friendly staff and rooms a little rough around the edges but generaly clean. Main problem was noise. The front facing rooms get all the noise from the road and the trains. The walls and floors are also quite thin and it was easy to hear other peoples tv`s / movements.

Breakfast was light, but good selection of fresh and healthy foods. The rooms were small in comparison to American standards but overly spacious when taking into account London customs. Even though they have signs posted that towels will not be changed unless the used ones are left on the floor, I received a new towel every day. The beds were a bit hard and the rooms were by no means sound proof, but the staff was VERY friendly and helpful! I was expecting the size of the bathroom to be about the size of one on a cruise ship by reading the previous reviews, but they were much more than adequate! The rooms were kept VERY warm so it was nice to come in from the 30 degree (F) weather all day to a nice cozy room! The location so close to Victoria station (lots of shopping, dining, theaters, etc) meant that no matter where I went on the tube (underground), I was centrally located and didn't have to travel far to go to all the sights!

My stay at comfort inn Buckingham Palace was ok. My single room was quite small (as usual for single rooms anyway) and it might be too small for a long stay (I stayed just 3 days). It was very tidy and clean; bathroom was recently refurbished, relatively spacious and comfortable. My room was not as noisy as I could have expected according to many reviews of other guests. keeping the window closed, I could hardly hear the trains; I might have been lucky with the assignment of the room, i don't know. Staff was nice and the hotel is generally clean and tidy. good value for money by the way. Location is perfect for victoria coach station for example although the area is quite residential and there is lack of shops and bars (you have to reach victoria station, which is anyway just 5 min walking).

I was surpeised by the profesional welcome I got when i arrived and the management were more than courteous. Great location - the trains do run by but to be honest - I found it only added to the atomsphere, and they were not that close to us. We got a great room with a balcony view. Highly recommended overall. The room felt as if it had just been done up.

I have been to London many times and stayed at four and five star hotels. Due to having friends with me who couldn't afford such I had to find economically priced hotels for all to stay at in Central London. The general experience was great. Good clean hotel, excellent location with basic breakfast, clean rooms, suitable bed and en suite bathroom and internet service. All that is required for the tourist or business traveler. As a frequent business traveler to London at least three times a year, I will definitely stay there again and save on the cost of the higher priced hotels.

In general we are happy with our stay cause the hotel were clean and just only a few minutes walking of most of tne main sites of the city!! Near the hotel (only 1 minute walking) you have the Victoria coach and Victoria train station and several buses stops so you can reach almost every corner of the city. The only thing we didn´t like a lot was the atention of the people working in the reception...except one guy during one of the nights, the rest of the people were not really friendly...but in general this is "normal" in London, people look hungry all the time!!! Please be HAPPY!!!!!! Maybe other thing that I would improve in this hotel is the quality of pillows and beds...but we only now about room numer 402...the pillows were really unconfortables!!! But as I said we would go back again and repeat!! Nice place!!!

Pleasant hotel with a very nice welcome. Very well situated (5 mins from Victoria Station and 10 mins walk to Buckingham Palace). Room was as pictured and expected. The hotel was in walking distance of Victoria train station (about 5 mins away) The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean (albeit a bit small) but had everything we needed for a two night stay. We enjoyed tasty fresh food and cold beer and very friendly service at Garfunkles restaurant which is 5 mins away in the shopping mall by Victoria station. I will stay again next time I visit London. Thanks to all involved in making our stay an enjoyable one!! Ps We were very grateful for the luggage minding service (at a small cost)as we checked out at 10am and our train home was not untill 5pm so we didnt have to trudge round with our suitcases all day, thanks again!!! x

The staff members were fantastic. I stayed here on two occasions, with a few day break in between. They kept my extra luggage until I returned for a very reasonable rate. They also offered an upgrade for my room, for which I was very grateful. Breakfast is very crowded, but the staff does a fantastic job keeping everything tidy and under control. I would definitely stay here again, especially with the hotel's close proximity to Victoria station. It made things much easier.

The hotel location is perfect for taking long walks and for getting to know london city center. Just behind the Victoria station, that means, you only need walking for less than 5 min to get the hotel. The hotel is very clean and very kind staff. My first time to London. The hotel is conveniently located within a few blocks of Victoria Station but the information failed to note that the hotel is practically over the train tracks entering the station. None the less I was dulled to sleep by the "clickity-clack" of the trains as they went by. The rooms were small but efficient and clean. The breakfast was satisfactory and the free internet access was convenient. The desk staff could have been a little more helpful as I had informed them it was my first visit and I did not get the "complete" story on using the buses. I would stay again, from the perspective that I know what to expect.

For the price the property was not so comfortable (Comfort Inn) that closed windows muted outside noise. The air conditioner was a not-so-comfortable fan. Coffee dispenser never worked while I was there. Property tried to charge me twice, once on arrival and once on departure.

Good location, close to Victoria Station, Buckingham Palace but noisy, since its right behind the station and the trains go about 50 meters away from the Hotel. Although I had booked the room 3 months ago, they gave me the worst room in the hotel, in the sotano, 4 meters, without window. It was no possible to sleep there. The location of this hotel was really easy to find, when you arrived to Vitoria Station, you can find the exit for Vitoria Coast Station. When you reach the Vitoria Coast Station, Comfort Inn Buckingham Palace is on your left hand side only. Since they arrange the LG1 floor for me, a little bit notice and it can be easy to hear the train in and out !! But the overall feeling is Ok, the service of their staff just can say OK not so good and not so bad.

Stay and room was okay, but unfortunately checking out took more time than reasonable. The clerk thought his incoming phonecalls were more important than the people waiting in line. And each phonecall was accepted with a lot of sighing and was responded with eloborate browsing through a pile of papers or databases on his computer. Between two phonecalls he started to help a party that appeared later than I did. A major mistake by this clerk, who with this lack of client focus showed that he was not qualified for the hotel business.

This is the second hotel that we stayed in London. The reason why we picked this hotel is simply the location and price. We only paid £69 per night and breakfast for two was included. Since it was located at the back of Victoria Station, close to the coach station, it was hard to find from the main entrance of Victoria Station, specially it was the first time for us to be in London. Once we find it, it was pretty handy for us to travel between the hotel and the station. In fact, it took us less than 5 minutes to walk from hotel to the station. The room is a bit small but it is normal in London. However, the bathroom is big with the London standard. I particularly like the size of the shower. A bigger than average person can take a shower there comfortably. So, with the price of £69 per night, it was a very deal. Since we needed to catch a early morning flight flying out of London, we did not have time to have breakfast there. Again, since the hotel was not far from the Victoria Station, going to the Gatwick airport from there was trouble free. 90% of the sidewalk from the hotel to the Train Station was fully covered so we did not need a rain cloth even it was raining that morning. The only problem for us with this hotel was the noise. We got a room in the basement located very close the main entrance. Yes. Our room was in the basement or the LG. We could hear who was entering the hotel and who was leaving the hotel. The sound proofing between rooms was good but the noise of people walking or wheeling their luggage above us still travel down to our room all night long. If you are a light sleeper like me, you would have some problem sleeping there; even the bed is very comfortable. Another issue was the window. Since the room was below ground level, everyone walking by would see everything in your room. We needed to have the curtain closed at all time. So, rooms in LG level is not recommended if you are light sleepers or if you want some privacy. Besi

Very well located. However, you could hear the trains nearby (did not disturb my sleep but could incommodate some people). Breakfast was very basic and offered less selection than at another 3-star Comfort Inn in central London. Also, they ran out of some foood items way before the end of the breakfast period.

I stayed in a single room, and the space was more than adequate for one person. It was also clean, and I felt secure there as a single woman traveler -- even though I arrived quite late at night dragging a bunch of luggage & obviously looking like someone from out of town, because the area around Victoria Station is FULL of people looking like that, so the streets don't ever seem vacant or threatening. That said, they're also not beautiful: this hotel is close to the coach station and a major train station, and the real reasons to stay there are convenience and price, not aesthetics. You might not want to stay at this hotel if you are extremely sensitive to noise, because there's a fair amount of noise from the train station. The trains don't rattle the windows or anything like that, but you do hear their brakes screeching a bit as they arrive at the station. This picks up especially early in the morning. I wore earplugs and it didn't keep me from sleeping, but I was definitely aware of it. The staff was helpful. The phone in my room was broken, and they got me a new one within about ten minutes. Breakfast is pretty good: several kinds of cereal, toast, juice, yoghurt. The coffee comes from one of those machines that can make espresso, capuccino, hot chocolate, whatever. All in all, a good deal.

It was really hot when I went to london. Would have been nice to have a Fan or A/C unit. Overall the hotel was nice though.

The hotel was in a good location which enabled us to walk to many of the sights in London. The room was newly renovated, clean and quiet. The breakfast provided cereal, bagels, yogurt, juice, and toast which gave us a good start to the day. The hotel clerks gave good recommendations with regards to restaurants and places to go.
