room asked and reserved for 3 adults was very small with only an additionnal matress to sleep on floor, and in relation and comparison to other hotels visited during our stay in Sweden, was expensive. I should have tried another trip operator with a wider offer. However breakfast and side services (free acccess to internet and kitchen)were good or acceptable

It must be said that the approach to the Comfort Hotel did not inspire much optimism. In fact the leviathan power plant outside the front door could lead you to believe you'd disembarked in Springfield rather than Gothenburg. Inside the ingenuity of the hotel space planner had created a room where lesser mortals may have conceded defeat. That said the design and facilities were both clean and modern. The inclusion of a small flat-screen TV was a nice touch although reception was more Poltergeist 3 than HD. Being enclosed on all sides by other buildings natural light was in short supply and the views likely to appeal only to fans of Hitchcock’s ‘Rear Window. ’ The hotel was however not without its redeeming features such as the super idea of self-service waffle making facilities as well as free hot and cold drinks in the afternoon. Beware however of the over-zealous cleaner. Although checkout time was 12.00 we returned at 11.30 to find our room had been cleaned, and our toothbrushes efficiently disposed of. To be fair the hotel quickly remedied this ‘oversight’ with new brushes and toothpaste.

Good hotel, very well located for the ferry to Denmark and city centre. Rooms were good Swedish design and although not to roomy were more than adequate. Breakfast which was included in our rate offered an excellent choice.

What a splendid stay. The staff were excellent (we told them too) and the fact that we could have a snack at any time, as well as tea and coffee, was a great bonus. We are great weekend travellers, and have been for many years, so it was nice to be pleasantly surprised by our accommodation. Thank everyone for us again, please.

Good location of this hotel, near the city center at walking distance. However, the view on the harbour is not very interesting. Our bedroom was very small under the roof. I don't know if the other rooms on lower levels are bigger but if so, because the price is the same, ours was a bit expensive. The breakfast is simple and the room in which it is presented is very small too. We had to wait 15 min to have a free table...

This hotel is in a great location - only about 10 minutes from the city centre. The breakfast was very good, and they served until 11am. The hotel staff were nice, and you could make a cup of tea anytime for free, and there were complimentary waffles in the evening. This was a good hotel, at a reasonable price and I would recommend it.

the hotel is placed pretty central. it`s easy to achieve everything by a quick walk.

Excellent base for the city. Bit of a walk from the station but nothing too bad. Very helpful staff gave us goos recommendations for places to visit and go out in the evenings. Breakfast good too and free juice, tea and coffee and cake in the bar too.

The receptionist who worked when I checked in was very kind and helpful. The other two ladies I met in the front desk was not smiling or helpful at all. I got a room on the 1st floor (as the last time I stayed here) and it`s facing a very dull back yard without seeing the sky. You can borrow a keyboard at the front desk to get internet access on the room-TV. The clerk said that this might be a bit slow when in fact it didn`t work at all! That`s not good enough for a three * hotel in 2007!

Nothing on the walls to look at but the TV, and one chair for two persons... We were really not impressed!

The hotel is ok but a bit away from the centre. The annoying feature was that they asked to pay the whole stay (4 days) up front (the explanation was of too many visitors leaving without paying!)

clean chain hotel in the downtown area. although it is possible to walk to most of the restaurants / sites downtown, it is not the most scenic of locations as its right beside a industrial-type site on the harbour.

Location is excellent and it is at walking distance from central Gothenburg. There is also a bus stop right in front of the hotel with several bus numbers. Complementary breakfast and afternoon waffles are very good. Rooms are clean and cozy and my single room was perfect for me.

A little too few seats available at breakfast. We also had to overhear one of the receptionists yell to another employer, a maid I think, complaining about her bad work.

We were a party of 5 girls, spending a weekend away. Even though the location and the area around was a bit disappointing to someone who's never been in Gothenburg before, it was very easy to find our way to city centre and within walking distance. Also, the bus stopped just outside the hotel! I have to say that what we appreciated the most, was the possibility to have breakfast outside in the cosy backyard! Very nice!
