The bed was too small for two people (franz bed of 140 cm). The mattress was old and saggy and i rolled continuously in the middle. On the 2nd floor elevator smelled strongly of uncomfortable smokers.

Loved my stay here in Smithfield - very convenient to the centre of Dubln, and really competitively priced. Loved the hot chocolate and hot-water bottles in the room. Breakfast was yummy too.

This hotel was within reasonable walking distance to many of the historic attractions in Dublin. We walked almost everywhere. There is a full service grocery store right next to the hotel which was very convenient for getting fruit and late night snacks.

We stayed in room 213, the room was really clean, large, quiet and comfortable.we could make our tea or coffeee whenever we wanted. beds were quite good but not excellent.next to the hotel there's a large supermarket with an excellent caffeteria ,and some pubs. the hotel is 20-30 minutes walk from the city center and two stops of tram or bus. the only problem is that in the evening you must have dinner at the hotel restaurant or take a tram to the city center because there aren't any restaurants nearby.we paid 25 euros for a taxi from the airport to the hotel.

We spoke with a clerk on the Hotel and she told us that breakfast was included but it turned out it wasn't so that was too bad.

We stayed for 9 days in Dublin. The Maldron was a nice place at a reasonable price. My cousins were satying in one Double room and my daugter, wife and I in a Triple. The room was nice. The television did not receive the channels listed, whcih was a bit of a disappointment and it took us 5 days of asking to make the staff know that a Triple means 3 sets of towels, not 2. Other than that, which really were minor concerns, the stay was quite pleasant. The staff at the desk were exceptionally nice and very helpful on a number of occasions. they need to be commended for their attention to the needs of the traveler. The restaurant had good food, while not a large variety, that was fairly priced. The waitresses in the restaurant were also very nice. I will definitely stay at the Maldron the next time in Ireland, which my husband and I hope will be within the next year or two.

The room was clean, spacious, quiet and generally great for the price paid. The hotel was 15-20 minutes away from the city center (on foot) and well connected to the public transports. Staff was nice and competent, food was perfectly satisfying. Overall a great stay, I can suggest this facility to whoever wants to visit Dublin

Rooms where very clean, staff gave excellent service. Extremely satisfied with this hotel, to a certain degree more a 4 star then a 3. Only minor note is the location of the hotel - Smithfield, great central location in dublin, only maybe a bit weary at night for lone travelers. Then again... great for small groups... and at no time during our state did we feel anything but safe in the city.

The Hotel provided a good standard of accommodation in Dublin at a good price. We were disappointed to find we could have got the room cheaper at the hotel. When we complained they gave us free breakfasts. The hotel was close to the Luas tram service straight to the middle of the city.

The second day I stayed, at 8 am the alarm starts ringing, over and over again. It was a false alarm, ringing until 8.30am. The lift wasn't working neither, so I have to go down and up again using the stairs, and the employees didn't ever says sorry for all the inconvenience. The best: the cleanliness of the rooms, and the views (at least from my room) of all Dublin. The worst: The employees and rooms littlest as expected. The relationship between price and quality is poor.
