Hotel had no record of you sending the reservation to them. We were lucky they found a room for us and gave it to us for your quoted price. They recomended we not use you in the future when booking with them.

The hotel did not have Venere's reservation even though we had a confirmation from Venere. This was a huge inconvenience because the hotel was sold out the first night, and they had to arrange a room for us in another hotel...this after a 16-hour drive...we were exhausted! Venere and Comfort Inn need to solve whatever problem caused this. Until that time, I will have to double-check directly with the property involved to assure that the reservation is in the hotel's booking system.

Nice big room at a very reasonable price. Friendly Staff. Excellent free hot breakfast. Excellent King size bed with plenty of pillows with varied hardness - was able to mix and match to perfection. Very comfortable. Was not crowded but also not empty. Was convenient to all the places I had to be. I didn't get a chance to use the pool, but it looked clean and was never empty but also never crowded the many times I passed it by. Minor unsightly carpet repairs under way in a hallway and pool deck. Elevator is in a strange out of the way place and not prominently labeled. TV didn't include any premium stations (not even an option). Area surrounding hotel has a lot of shopping malls and isn't very scenic.

From Chicago O'Hare International Airport:
Depart (south) and take the right ramp towards I-190 East in the direction of the Chicago Loop. At Exit 1C, take the right ramp towards I-294/Tri-State Tollway North toward Milwaukee/Rockford. Again take the right ramp and follow signs for US-14 East/Dempster St. Keep straight onto US-14/Dempster St. and then turn left onto SR-43/SR-58/Waukegan Road. Turn right onto Golf Road and then right onto US-41/Skokie Blvd. Make a U-turn at Gross Point Road and follow along until you reach the hotel.
