At our arrivals there was a young blond woman hotel concierge abd she was very nice and spoke also italians. We want to suggest this hotel. Consigliamo questo hotel. La ragazza bionda(purtroppo non ricordo il nome)della concierge era molto carina e parlava anche italiano.

I found this hotel very good. The room was clean and the hotel is situated close to the centre. the relationship between price/quality is excellent.

I booked on the net and it seems like we got the worst rooms. The quality was not better than the Motorway hotels like Formula 1 or Ibis.

Second stay. Room hardly bigger than the bed but OK I suppose for good location and clean. Walking distance from train station although we had a car this trip. Driving in Annecy is difficult and hotel was hard to find more than once during our stay. Finally figured out - find the train station, then the hotel was easy. City is poorly signed. But a beautiful tourist area near the lake. Hotel did not include breakfast. I ate it once - did not think it good value. Wife ate a couple of times. She's diabetic and had to eat. Garage was 7 euros a night and was a real dungeon. Got trapped inside once when desk clerk closed outer door before I could find my way out. My advice: take the train. You do not need a car in Annecy unless you wish to take side trips which we did this time. Room maids were friendly, thorough and competent. A real plus.

A great stay for a minimum price. Try and get better directions to the hotel. Once you find it, it is easy but the first time can be challenging.

terrible neighborhood...never had such a difficult time locating a hotel!!! For the first time ever we considered giving up and staying somewhere else.

Good value and in quiet location but not too far from the old town. However, parking acn be a problem - we requested a space in the garage but it was full when we arrived, as was the nearby car park.

stayed only 1 night as a stopover, room was clean and tidy with small balcony overlooking side street. hotel is probably more suited to business travel, as very average in all areas, of reception, facilities offered, and surroundings, approx 15 min walk into town. would stay again for 1 night but would look elsewhere for longer stay. hotel has underground car park for additional charge. breakfast is not included in price.

Only there in the pouring rain, so general impression somewhat impaired. However, lovely old quarter with (quite pricey) eateries.

Friendly receptionist and the location is convenient. But not so close to the train station as the hotel described (a few minutes walk from the train station!). Very quiet room but very small in size. The breakfast really worths the price.

the hotel was 10 minute walk from the castle. The ground fllor and the lift had a funny smell and it was because of a air-freshener, but the room didn´t. They accept pets, and the guys,in the room next door, broght their dog, so when they went down to have breakfast the dog started barking... Take that into account. i believe there must be other hotels better than this one in Annecy. I would not go back to it.

The hotel is pretty nice, but it is not mentioned in the website that breakfast is not included in the price of the room: it is not nice having surprises like this!Anyway the town is very suggestive and the location of the hotel allows you to let the car and enjoy your stay.

The room was small but nice and clean. The staff was very helpful. The hotel is very close to the train station and about a 10-15 min walk to the center of town...not too bad. Beautiful town...wish I could have stayed longer.

Non è così evidente durante la prenotazione che si tratta del solo pernottamento, e che la colazione è a pagamento (tra l'altro non economica). Ma il personale in ogni caso lo spiega chiaramente all'arrivo, per cui non si verificano fraintendimenti.

L'albergo ci è piaciuto e la posizione in città è ottimale per visitare il centro senza essere in mezzo al traffico.

The location is a little far from annecy old town(10 - 15 mins by walk), but we didn't know that from the web page. Good and spacious room. We don't recommend the breacfast.

Loved Annecy and the hotel was well enough located to see the town easily. Had a bit of difficulty finding the place but enjoyed our stay.

Hotel is a pleasant 10 minute walk from Annecy centre. Hotel acceptable in all aspects, especially the huge breakfast. Free car park outside was vey full.

We stayed here en route by car for Italy and had a very enjoyable evening in the town. The old bit of Annecy is well worth a visit - a 15 min or so walk from the hotel.

This was our first stay in a Comfort hotel, and we were so impressed with the facilities available in our room - which included a microwave, iron and ironing board, trouser press and tea and coffee making facilities - that we will definitely be using Comfort hotels in the future. The staff were without exception excellent in their professional service and advice to help us make the most of our stay in Annecy. Thank you all very much.

The hotel is situated near train station, but it's a 10 minutes walk to old Annecy and the lake. We stayed 3 nights in a "Comfort" double room, the room size was a little bit bigger than most hotel rooms in France. Pros: good bed and shower. Rooms are air conditionned. There's also a safe. Cons: I found out that the carpet was never vaccumed during our stay. They've only change bath towels but didn't clean the bathroom. No minibar provided in "Comfort" rooms, only in "Comfort Plus" rooms with 8 euro extra. Overall, it was a not so bad place to stay if it doesn't bother you to walk 10 minutes to get to old Annecy. For the price versus quality and services, we found that paying 77 euro per night is a little bit expensive for an hotel which is not in old annecy.

This was a very good hotel. The location was convenient (a short walk from the train station). Rooms were clean and spacious and we were happy to find a hotpot with tea in the room. Our only disappointments were: We had read the web-site to say that breakfast was included in the rate and were surprised to be charged extra for breakfast. We also expected that the view shown on the website (overlooking Lake Annecy) would be the view from the hotel and in fact, the photo was taken from quite a different location. I was however disappointed with the venere.com staff's handling of my hotel booking in Annecy. I had attempted to book a different hotel in Annecy and got a message that my reservation request had been voided because the hotel had not responded in 48 hours. I therefore made a new booking with the Comfort Hotel and received an instant confirmation. Imagine my surprise when I returned from Europe and was advised that the first hotel had subsequently replied outside the 48 hour period, and that venere.com had reactivated my request to confirm that accommodation (although by that time I had made a second reservation and left the country!!) I am hopeful that I will not have a fight over any inappropriate charges to my credit card.
