My first experience with an automatic check-in terminal! But the receptionist was there explaining helpfully to everybody very patiently how to use it. Generally quite hassle-free. The hotel was quiet as far as outside traffic is concerned, but noises from people on the corridor and other people using showers and toilets was particularly bad here. Didn't stop for breakfast, but heard that the steak restaurant is excellent.

As advertised on Venere. The hotel was overall very neat, clean, tidy, and the services were efficient and friendly. The room was a touch on the small side, but for an economy visit during which the primacy of importance was on getting around London, the price versus space point isn't an issue at all. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We were in London 3 days -friday to sunday- at the end of february and stayed in a ample double room provided with shower, toilet, tv (with international channels), alarm clock, a wardrobe, 2 hair-dryers and a big bed. The bed and pillows were very confortable, sheets were clean and new. You could regulate yourself the heating system from inside the room, good thing ´coz some cold air came in through the windows. Breakfast was not included (however you could pay it as an extra). The hotel was very quiet and good located. During the week all shops and restaurants around it are opened and there was a lot of life, "business people" and noise but weekends this neighbourhood is dead. Almost everything was closed and nobody walked on these streets -except a couple of tourist-. Mercifully we found a Starbucks just 2 min. away where to drink a good (fairtrade) coffee before going to the center. Down Town is very easy and quick to reach by tube or bus. We are very satisfied with it all.

Very good experience altogether. Reasonable price for an excellent hotel. Room was rather small for three persons, but fully equipped and comfortable, with electric kettle, microwave and even small cooking plate plus some tea and coffee bags. We didn't try rather expensive hotel restaurant, but there were couple of pubs and restaurants around, one of them in the same building just 15 meters from hotel door. Very good base for a weekend trip to London, located in the very heart of the City.

The Hotel was excellent. You do have to be willing to go a ways for restaurants, shops etc. on weekends but the underground is close by.

If I should go back to London, I will definitly book this hotel for a double bed room. The only negetive point is that we were three and had a very good double bed and a very small spring bed (kid bed). The service would have been perfect if we had three single adult beds !

I stayed with my Family at the hotel , It was very central , Room was spacious for London and having the Extra facilities (microwave, Fridge) was great as we could look after Our daughter without the stress of a restaurant.. The take-away Delivery service was also excellent..

Very good hotel in the City, a little bit far from everything, especially in the week end when nearly all shops are closed in this part of London.

Travelling with my husband and family, the hotel had no available facilities during our stay at the weekend ie no restaurant or bar facilities on site, room service is not a preferred option. Additionally there was no where to have breakfast either, ultimately a hotel not suited to a weekend traveller.

We were greeted upon entering the hotel by one of its staff and were promptly introduced to the check-in process. How fantastic this process is! When we checked out, we had to leave our bags and return for them. We were promptly assisted, no problems. The location was great and near the Tube. Quiet location. Plenty of room. Will try to stay in Club Quarters in other cities as well. Thanks!

I do recommend this hotel when traveling to London. I needed to stay in central London near my office for two weeks and this hotel was perfect. The rooms were clean and the staff helpful. And the location is perfect if you need to be near the financial center. There is not much to do in the area on weekends so you will need to travel outside the "the city".

Very satisfied, only thing is that the surroundings in the city is very dead on weekends and holidays - that means everything is closed, no coffee in the morning in the closer surroundings, etc. So it is a better choice for the week, than it is great. We would choose the hotel again anyway because it has got a good relationship between price and quality.

High quality room, with possibility to do cooking in the room. we didn't try the breakfast service (to expensive) but if you don't want to do it yourself, you will find around where to have cheap breakfast or lunch (near London bridge for example). hotel is in the city, so a lot is closed even on saturdays (and don't speak of sundays and bank holidays ...) but you'll find at liverpool street station all you need (10mn walk).

Good and quite hotel, strategically near to Liverpool Street Station, very useful for people travelling by Stansted Express traveller (Ryan Air and others low cost companies). Very close also to either Monument and Bank tube stations, that are on Circle and District lines. The City is quiet but well served zone in London. I'll probably come back in this hotel next time in London.

This hotel certainly offered the best value I have encountered in London. We were there for a weekend and as other comments noted the area is fairly quiet at the weekend. Nevertheless we found nice restaurants for lunch and dinner close by. It was also convenient to the Tower of London and HMS Belfast which we wanted to visit. I will certainly want to stay in this hotel on future visits to London.

Superb location in "The City". 5 minutes walk from Liverpool St, Bank and Monument tube stations. Wonderfully quiet at weekends but nothing open in area at that time. This is not a problem as transport links are excellent and you can access the noisy heart of London whenever you wish. Staff are top notch - very polished and helpful. No restaurant/bar facilities on-site at weekend, apart from breakfast in adjoining restaurant, (very good Continental or Full English), which is really funky - themed Argentinian. Would we stay here again ? Oh yes - can't think we'd stay anywhere else at a weekend.

By far the best weekend value I've come across in central London. The only negative point is the fact that everything in the City closes for the weekend (cafes included), but there are very good bus and tube connections to the West End. A "real" hotel at a price more usually associated with dressed-up (and not so) B&Bs in London.

We went to the "Club Quarters Gracechurch" for a short Holiday with my wife. I selected it because of the good price/performance ratio, and I can confirm. The hotel itself is clean, our room was spacious and very quiet. Ask for rooms on the backyard. I did not try the breakfast, nor the restaurant. I definitely recommend it, even for business travel.

Good hotel. staff is good enough to provide all requests in short time. surroundings are not too rich of shops. a quite wide choice of restaurants is available next to the hotel but they close around 09.30 pm. the standard is extremely good compared with the rate and, overall, compared with London standards.

The best was the quality of the service and the kindness of the employees. The room was excellent and clean with no noice or disturbance but the view was not terrific. Just two things which could be revised: - the possibility to open the windows, - the possibility to swich off the air conditioner.

For the special internet price, this room was a bargain. Similar prices were offered in hotels of much lower caliber for the same time period, but I think there are very few rooms offered at this price in this hotel, and only at the weekend! Area around the hotel was "dead", but lots to do only a few tube stops away. Breakfast in hotel was very expensive, but a Starbucks was available near the Monument tube stop. Extremely convenient for London City Airport, and we could leave our bags in a locked room for as long as necessary at £1 per bag. Lovely reception area to relax in as well. Would definitely go back as a couple if we got the same price (£75.60/night VAT included).

Adequate accommodation in the City part of London. Much more of a business hotel than a tourist one. The room we had was huge with tea and coffee making facilities and also a microwave which might be useful if one was staying for more than 1 night. Plenty of shops close by, including a Tesco although a lot of the shops are closed over the weekend. There is a pub next-door with cheap breakfast, although we were surprised to find it closed on the Saturday when it was supposed to be open. Free internet access which was useful and a gym. Again, these gave the feel of a business-orientated atmosphere they being situated next to conference rooms. Overall a very good price/quality ratio and very easy to travel the short distance by tube to Leicester Square etc. Very quiet and up-market neighbourhood

The location is good as it's very near tube and bus routes direct to central London (Oxford Street). Weekends are very quiet around the city which is a bonus as you can be in town in about 15-20 mins by bus or the same walking to the south bank amenities. The hotel was good value and clean and tidy with generous sized rooms (though very much a business type hotel). Unfortunately, there was building work going on next door while we were there which was active until gone 8pm on Friday night and Saturday morning from 8am! This was the only real downside. Checkout wasn't until mid-day which made for a leisurely Sunday morning. If you're going to London for 'traditional' sight-seeing you might be better staying west, but if like me (an ex-Londoner), you are there for visiting friends, shopping, architecture and seeing development of areas like the south bank, I would definitely recommend this location and will stay there again.

An absolute bargain! We stayed for two nights over a weekend and thought the place was great. It was small, clean and comfortable and the service was good too. There's a pub next door which serves really cheap breakfast and there's a great steak restuarant in the basement. The location is really good too. If you're coming as a tourist, it's not too far from the Tate Modern and and St Pauls. The rest of central London is only a short Tube ride away. For this price (£55 per room per night), I really can't fualt it, especially when I'm used to paying three times the price for the same level!

The hotel was clean and the rooms were modern and nice. They were of a good size also. The hotel had a snobby feel though which I didn't like. Breakfast wasn't included, and we had to pay extra to store our luggage for a few hours before we went to the airport. The hotel was very safe, with key card access required on the doors. It was close to some of the tourist sites, but there was limited eating or shopping around the hotel. We were very surprised that the pub was closed on Sunday! Overall a nice hotel without any charm.
