Shindzela is a 16 bed tented safari camp situated in the Timbavati Private Game Reserve (Big 5), South Africa. The Timbavati reserve is part of the greater Kruger National Park, and is open to the Kruger, allowing animals the freedom to roam over great distances. The Reserve is home to the Big 5 animals, as well as species such as zebra, giraffe, wild gogs, hyena, cheetah and the plains game. Over 350 bird species have been recorded in the area. We offer game drive safaris with your guide in open Landrovers (day and a night safari) as well as walking in this Big Five area. Tea/coffee, 3 meals per day, 2 safari activities as well as a swimming pool are available.

Room Details

Accommodation is in twin or double bed safari canvas tents, set on wooden platforms, with a thatch roof. Private bathrooms are built from reeds, thatch and wood. Each bathroom features a shower with running hot and cold water, wash basin and flush toilet.
