The price is really really the main thing here. We got a small mobile home for family of three for a very reasonable price. Was happy not to book 2-3 star hotel in Venice as this was the best choice. You get a decent place to stay and we were very happy as we got a cabin far away from restaurant. Overall really happy and definitely would return.

We were very surprised that accommodation that was so cheap could be so good. For 3 friends we had a cabin with 3 single beds in 2 rooms. It was very cramped but very clean and comfortable for an overnight stay. The highlight was our meal in the on site restaurant . While it lacked character and ambience the food was excellent and the service friendly . Very convenient for visiting Venice on a budget. We had no issues with the bus which was very convenient.

This camping is perfect for just visiting Venice. We booked a chalet with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and that's exactly what we've got. On their site the write there is a service to pick you up from the airport. Unfortunatly that was not possible in May so we had to rent a car or take a taxi. The shuttlebus to venice was very nice, but was not driving to plaza di roma (as said on the website), but to the little train (people mover) where you have to buy another ticket to go to Venice (2,60 euro retour). Don't expect too much from the free wifi. 80% of the time it was not working properly so you could not even check your mail.

The rooms aren't properly sealed and could get annoyingly cold over the night. They were bit shaky too. If not for that I would have said definitely value for money. Also, the bus number they have mentioned in the website is not frequent & hence be ready to wait for an hour with your luggage outside the Mestre station!

We were really positively surprised when we arrived at the Camping Jolly in Venice. Because of the really economic prices we thought we might spend some nights in an average "container"...but it was perfect! The rooms were clean, warm (thanks to a flawlessly working air conditioner) and cozy. Beds were nice, the private bathroom with toilet, shower and sink also nice and clean. I really enjoyed staying there. Our way to the island of Venice took around 20-25min (10mins by feet + 15min by bus). The staff was friendly and helpful. I would go there anytime again.

___ -Negatives: 1) shower didn't work properly: ether you had freezing cold water or boiling water (it was impossible to get the ideal temperature); 2) poor room isolation: noises and shakes (when somebody walks or moves in the room next to ours we can hear it and we can feel the room quaking). We could perfectly hear the cars passing on the hiway next the hotel; 3) We had to pay to have towels; 4) from our room, the WIFI was a disaster (we could login, but impossible to access any page. The speednet test was 0.01Mb); 5) there was a leak under the toilet, but it didn't seem to be a big deal. On our last day, we flushed it and the flush tube came out of the toilet causing a flood in the bathroom; 6) the bed had part of the pallet broken ___+Positives: 1) helpful staff; 2) good breakfast; 3) good restaurant

it's cheap, it's nice, is open all year round, internet included in the price, a little walking you can reach Venice by public transport 24 hours a day with the lines Actv 6, 2N and Sita, you can catch up with the rolling card. The location is strategic to the motorway to Padua. I was fine although the bungalows are a bit small.

The Camping is about 10 min walk till the first buss stop (no 15 buss) that you can easily take to Treviso Airport, and 45 min walk till the Railway Station (Mestre Stazione). The buss program starts at 6 in the morning till 9 in the evening(21:00), so if you are planning on going on a trip somewhere else besides Venice you will probably have to walk till the Railway Station or just take a cab. There is a shuttle buss you can take to Venice every day from 9 am till 9 pm, the only thing is that you have to buy the thickets a little bit ahead because they only have 2 cars to take you to Venice, therefore, not so many places. FYI: if you don t have tickets, the buss drivers will leave without you because most of the times the shuttle is full. The store inside the Camping Village closes at 9, but the restaurant is open in case you are hungry, thirsty, or just wanna have a good time, play pool or darts, or just meet new people. The buffet breakfast is great, a lot of choices and it tastes really good. If you're planning on going in this period of time (october-november) take cosy cloths because during the night it s kinda of cold even with the air conditiong turned on. Overall I liked the place. It's clean, quiet and safe.

Spanish couple in our 30's. Found a nice place, nice bungalow, common areas lovely, and very helpful and kind staff. It's important to verify communications to get to Venice. We didn't know the bus from the camping only gets to Tronchetto, which is quite far from city centre! Anyway, this misunderstood let us take a unexpected but beautiful walk thru the city.

I rated "Spaciousness of rooms" as "Excellent", but keep in mind that this is with regard to the low price. There was slight noise from a nearby highway, but not loud enough to prevent you from sleeping. Staying in a bungalow, we even felt minor vibrations of the floor - don't know if it was the trucks, or our neighbours in the other half of bungalow. Water temperature in shower was difficult to adjust, it kept changing after a few seconds. But these are all minor bugs. The staff were friendly, sometimes one of them had to help the other in order to get the job done, but in general, they were professional enough and provided mostly accurate information. For commuting to Venice we used Actv buses, which don't depart from the camp, and the staff told us we'd have to walk 10-15 minutes to/from the bus stop. Returning to the camp on the first evening, after having walked in the city all day, we were wrecked and couldn't make it under 30 minutes. After that we used our car to get to the bus stop. In the mid September, the nights were quite cold, so we were glad to have heating in our bungalow. If we stayed during the hotter months, we'd definitely choose a bungalow with a fridge. All in all, we were very satisfied, great value for money, I would recommend it to everyone.

I can't say enough about how awesome this place was! It has everything you need like it's own little community! There was a restaurant, night club, market, ginormous swimming pool and swimming area, showers and so much room. People were friendly and also very accommodating! They offer rides for so cheap to airports and into the center of Venice for incredible prices. It was 8 euro for 2 people roundtrip to get to downtown Venice. It was so perfect I just can't even explain! Free wifi was great too!

We stayed in a 'cabin'- there was only room for the two single beds (pushed together)in the main area but the bathroom was adequate. Air conditioned. The staff were friendly and helpful (booked a shuttle to Venice) - very close by and very cheap Eu4 return! The pool was lovely, service good, but the breakfast was AWFUL!!! The food was greasy and of poor quality. Only Eu6 but that's Eu6 better spent elsewhere! We only had breakfast one day, the next day we ate elsewhere. However, the evening meal was ok. Not top class but edible (we were hungry!). When we were there (end of June 2013) there were a lot of 20 - 30 types, drinking and swearing to excess. Not really a good time/place for families with young children or older holiday makers. It's good as a one/two night stop just to access Venice but as a holiday camp I would not recommend it.

We arrived at 1 a.m. after wandering around trying to find the camping Jolly for over an hour. The city bus dropped us off and we were pointed in the wrong direction, finally found a bar that redirected us back the way we came and another 25 min walk to Camping Jolly. It was very scary at that time of night. The night guard was fantastic! Got us set up quickly. The shuttle bus is very efficient way to travel to and from Venice, although a little pricey. The public facilities were clean and spacious. The pool was great. The breakfast was 6.50 euro ea., but a good selection and one of the better breakfast buffets in Europe so far. We booked 1 night, stayed for 4. Overall, great place and highly recommended.

I didn't enjoy having a loud highway right behind my room first thing in the morning or late at night, but the room was fantastic. In terms of quality of the hotel/camping site it was superb. I had so much fun in the pool, the convenience store wasn't too over price, traveling to the main island was easy, and the rooms were very clean although a bit hot (even with AC). One thing I did not like about the camping village was the shuttle system. You had to reserve a spot for going and coming back from the main island. Although cheap you can easily take a free bus from a location maybe 15 minutes away. Another thing about the shuttle is that it drops you off at Tronchetto and you then need to take a 1 euro "people mover". Thing is...the shuttle could easily take you directly to Piazzale de Roma, but it doesn't. Also the wifi sucks, but the main lobby does have 10 or so computers which are open for use all day. Very minor complaints because I had such a nice trip and the place was fantastic.

It was quite okay during the stay at Camping Jolly. The service is quite good compared to the paid price. Anyway, the air conditioner didn't work at first due to the lack of the remoter, but on the next day a technician came and provided us another one. It was good, I think. The most unpleasant things happened to us is the shuttle bus service. The receptionist once told me that it was very easy to see the shuttle bus in Tronchetto, but he didn't explain us more about it. We got out of the vaporetto and saw a large parking lot, we stood there and waited because we thought the bus would come there. But it appeared to be on anywhere else at the people mover. Unfortunately we didn't understand what people mover is, so we missed the shuttle bus and had to take the city bus instead. Anyway, even though I saw that the shuttle bus had taken 2 rounds to find us, We couldn't make it cuz it drove so fast. :)) It was a nice trip though. Thanks camping jolly.

The staff are not accommodative and rude. Most of the bathrooms in the other hotels are bigger than the entire room provided in this property. Rooms are stinking. No cleanliness. I stayed for a week with my girlfriend in one half of a standing mobilehome. We have seen many short stay people come and go. I think this place is very good for it's price. And ofcourse there were times that the neighbours were noisy and moved a lot what made the cabin shake, but what could you expect else on a camping with so many people. I read many comments before i went, also bad comments. I think the restaurant is ok, the prices are fair also in the supermarket. Only one facility wasn't there, the internet. The distance to the bus is not far, so it's not as if this place is so far as some people write down. Bus 6 and 15 is near on walking distance. The staff was friendly and helpful. Cheers

Really really poor service. The reception was the worst. They took their time checking in people and we have to wait in a long frustrating line. In my opinion, the receptionist should be fired. The wifi was impossible to connect. And the location of the place is very bad. Eventhough they do provide shuttle buses to venice, but ir's not frequent at all. They weren't very helpful giving out informations. I remember asking them if there's any other way to go to venice apart from the shuttle buses, they said it's not possible to go to venice without their shuttle buses. And finally, i did found a way to get to venice by using the public transport which is located far far away from the camping site. Overall, the room was cozy, but the reception and location is just too bad.

Though staff was friendly, the reception often was very crowded and there were long queues. Also the shuttle bus needed to be booked long in advance. If you are looking for some different experience and some budgeted stay then its recommended Camp Jolly is located 15 20 mins away form venice mainland and is pretty decent for the price they quote we stayed in a mobile hut with attached bathroom , it was a clean nice room but if someone is walking outside or shaking up in adjacent hut u will feel the tremors lol thats was funny we had some issue with the heating and the camp electric guy fixed bu it did not work very well so had to spend some cold shivering time in room The place in itself is good with a decent restaurant swimming pool and a good supermarket located inside the campus The nearest bus stop is like 10 mins walk from camp so be prepared to walk fr a while u can get bus 15 from mestre station and bus 6 to travel to venice piazza roma and form piazza u can take water taxis for venice or lido or murano Over it was a pleasant experience with few hitches but we were prepared as the price we paid was cheap

Attention on the shuttle of the campsite(camping) which can leave without you (are 15mn before his(her, its) departure there > > > the driver(chauffeur) never having the same hour as you !!). It's a pity for the "minimarket" as well as the bar / restaurant who is closed from 11 am till 6:30 pm?? For information, the mobil-home naming is false. They are Bungalow, impossible to cook !

We spent 4 nights here and were satisfied with the camping. At the reception pretty young girls (probably students) welcomed us with good English. Check-in took a bit long as many others were checking-in but not too long. The 'room' was half of a plastic bungalow which wobbled at almost every movement we or our neighbours made but it was rather strange than annoying. The camping is very close to the motorway so you can hear the noise of cars day and night but we could sleep well. The only noise that disturbed us was others speaking loudly in the night and others pulling their wheeled suitcases in front of our window in the night and early morning. They don't even think of disturbing others. The room was quite small but after some rearrangement we had enough space. Nevertheless we had to organize our movements. There were two beds on the floor pushed together as a double bed and one at height of 160 centimeters so a ladder was provided for climbing (our daughter enjoyed it in spite of the difficulties in climbing). The room was tidy and clean, the bathroom as well. There was an air-conditioner in the room but we did not need to turn it on. There were periods when bad odour could be smelt in the room probably due to improper fitting of drain pipes. We were lucky because the door of our room opened to the swimming pool that was open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. or so and tidy and clean. As it is a camping there are washmachines and a grill, furthermore a restaurant and a small shop were most of the product were hard drinks and beer. If you come here buy bike or car I suggest you to go to the shopping mall on the other side of the motorway not too far wawy, there you can buy many products, even coal for grilling. If you prepare properly then you can even cook for you inside or in front of the bungalow. We went to Venice by bus. At the reception you can get information how to get to the bus stop of line number 6. It takes approx. 15 minutes to get there by foot and additi

Just to check in, we had to wait in line for half an hour. There is not any mini market close to the camping, there's one inside the facilities, but every purchase had to be done through a prepaid card that had to be recharged at the recepcion and, again, you have to wait in line and staff is not very friendly. We stayed at Village Jolly just to be close to Venice Marco Polo airport, which is about 45 min. The place is about 15 min walk to the bus stop and was hard to find. The houses are very clean. The offered shuttle runs in very limited times to Venice where you'll have to take a Vaporetto, as the shuttle does not stop at Piazzale Roma.

People nice and very helpful. The directions were not incorrect, but it is several blocks after the turn at the pizzaria (which is a great place to eat, by the way!) The place is funky and we enjoyed our time there.

I was extremely pleased with my stay at Jolly. I could not believe the value. It is inexpensive for the Venice area (wayyy under its competitors) but has a competent and friendly staff (a great improvement on its competitors). Hot showers, well-kept visitor areas, reasonable food pricing, and friendly visitors to chat with. I saw all kinds of travelers: students, couples, friends, young children, some late-50s parents with their teenage kids. There were many nationalities represented too. The receptionists seemed to be able to speak every language under the sun. Everyone, staff and guests, was polite and relaxed. I would absolutely stay here again.

The only negative thing about this camping is that there are very tiny walls in the camping houses - you can feel every single move of jumping children. Otherwise it is really great place to stay - restaurant, supermarket, swimming-pool. English speaking personnel.
