Desert Retreat Camp in Bidiyah, located in the heart of the Wahiba Sands, is the ideal destination for those looking for the ultimate desert experience in Oman. This caravan park in Bidiyah offers accommodation in Arabic tents located 20 km into the Wahiba sands in the Ash Sharqiyah region. Each beduin tent features beds and a private bathroom.

The area is reputed for its golden sand dunes which attract tourists from all over which are perfect for practising a variety of desert activities such as excursions in 4x4 and camel rides. In short vicinity of the desert camp, guests on holiday in Oman will be able to visit the ancient forts spread over Bidiyah, including Al Muntarib Fort.

This eco- camp offers a comfortable Arabian sitting area, camel rides, dune bashing, barbecue facilities, and evening entertainment with an Oman band (upon request). The hosts can also organise visits to typical Bedouin houses, trips to all wahiba sands and wadi bani khalid.
