Barcelona in an fantastic place to go on holiday. It has fantastic hotels and restaurants and in the centre of the town is the most amazing market. They have a wide selection of fruit, vegetables, fish, meat, chocolates etc. Talking of ‘the food of the gods’ you must also visit the Chocolate Museum.
The town is also famous for its Gaudi architecture and you MUST take a look at the cathedral that he started many years ago and it is still being built now.
If you visit in the summer then it has a great beach and sitting on the promenade drinking coffee is a favourite pastime.
