The city boasts more than 150 biergartens that remain open from April to October. The largest and the oldest beer gardens are within the city limits. Taste a Bavarian beer in one of the traditional beer gardens, as month of October is coming to a close. But what is a beer garden? A true beer garden dotted with chestnut trees serves handcrafted Bavarian beer in beer mugs and uses wooden tables instead of modern plastic tables and umbrellas.
