Where the nightlife in Budapest is concerned, this is a city that does not like to disappoint the locals. Tourists will find the local party scene filled with dozens of uniquely original bars and nightclubs. So if you would rather be sitting in an Irish style pub and sipping a draught beer while still be influenced by the West, you won’t find that in the Budapest nightlife. And unlike the nightlife in other major European cities, there is none of the vulgar extravagance that you normally witness in their bars and clubs.

The peak visiting season occurs between December and April which is evidenced by the dramatic increase in airline fares and hotel prices so you might want to take that into consideration if you are planning on vacationing there during those months. And it is best to book an accommodation as per your budget in advance if you intend staying for a while.
