Bruges

In an effort to lessen the number of trucks in the picturesque Belgian city of Bruges, the municipality decided to drastically reduce congestion by accepting an application from the company “De Halve Maan.” A 3 km long underground conduit between the brewery and bottling plant means that 500 trucks will no longer need to drive through the centre of Bruges each year.
