Visitors to Prague, Czech Republic will almost certainly use the convenient and well appointed Ruzyne airport situated about five miles west of the city. After some comprehensive expansion and improvement works in recent years the airport now acts not only as a gateway to Prague but to all of Europe for visitors travelling from as far afield as Korea. The transfer to or from Ruzyne is not as easy as it is in many major cities due to the absence of a dedicated rail link but is still quite simple and convenient.

There are information services for arriving passengers in the Central Area (open 24 hours), in Terminal 1 and in Terminal 2. Arriving passengers can also make hotel reservations around the clock at the info desk in the Central Area, on Level 03. read full article

Berlin enjoys a very well-connected, relatively inexpensive, and efficient public transportation system. There are two main airports in the city: Berlin Tegel (TXL), located in the northwest and Berlin Schoenefeld (SXF), located in the southeast. Both are international airports, but Schoenefeld mostly caters to charter flights and low-budget carriers like EasyJet and Ryanair. Tegel is considered the current official international airport of Berlin, but that is soon to change in 2011 when Schoenefeld becomes Berlin’s sole airport.
