Senigallia – Small City for a Big Party
Senigallia is the port city that will host the annual Italian summer Jamboree 50s festival. The city is located in the Adriatic Riviera of the country and is famous for its history, beautiful marine landscapes and much more. This is also a preferred holiday destination for many families from all over the world. It is because Senigallia is a quiet, clean and exceptionally Italian town with a lot to give back to its visitors.

Unlike usual, though, between 3rd and 11th August 2013 the town will be transformed by the noisiest and biggest music festival on the Adriatic as the Summer Jamboree 50s fest will once again take over the port and turn it into the most exciting August party place in Europe. Music from the 40s and 50s of the past century will be played and performed live on stage. Duane Eddy, California’s The Paladins and Ray Gelato & the Giants are just some of the headliners of the event.

Booking a Room for the Event
Many people will visit the event just because they have heard of how great it was from friends, after all, this is the 14th edition of the festival. This is why it’s important to book your stay as early as possible. The city has some of the best budget rooms in its B&B Tenuta San Marcello as well as high-class rooms in its 4-star hotels. Alongside the Ritz chain, which has a 4-star place in town, there are also the Senbhotel, the Terrazza Merconi and the Duchi della Rovere. All of these are able to give you excellent service and a stay that will not put a shadow over your exciting Jamboree 50s Festival experience. First-time visitors should also keep in mind local climate characteristics. Temperatures vary from around 28 degrees Celsius during the day to 18 degrees Celsius at night. It’s rarely raining in August and the actual rainfall is more like a drizzle, which cools down the ground for a short period of time.

Visit Senigallia, the town of Pope Pius IX, and have an excellent time at the Italian summer Jamboree 50s festival with family, a couple of friends or a whole party! See this small city transformed for a week in August.
