Invented in the 1930′s in Mexico, the Margarita is a real summer favourite. Made with Tequila, Cointreau and Lime juice be sure to add plenty off ice and salt the rim for that classic Margarita taste.

A favourite of boutique hotels in New York, the Cosmo is light, fresh and a little too easy to drink. Made with Vodka, Cointreau, Cranbury and Lime Juice the drink was invented in the 1970′s and popularised in the 90′s by Sex and The City’s Carrie Bradshaw.

Pina colada

The quintessential holiday cocktail, the Pina Colada is the national drink of Puerto Rico and should really be enjoyed whilst sat relaxing on a beach. White Rum, Coconut Cream and Pineapple juice are all you need to create this wonderfully creamy cocktail classic.

Mint Julep

If you haven’t tried a Julep yet, you need to. Mint, Sugar, Bourbon and a dash of water make this centuries old drink a sweet yet boozy favourite. A classic in American bar rooms, it’s also the official cocktail of the Kentucky derby. Perfect for those hot summer nights.

The Daiquiri is perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth. A Cuban invention that can also be served frozen, the drink uses White Rum, Simple Syrup and Lime Juice and was apparently a personal favourite of both Ernest Hemmingway and John F. Kennedy.
