Venere.com, one of Europe’s market leaders in online hotel reservations is looking for a senior technical SEO to join its team and help build Venere.com’s online visibility. He or she will report to the SEO Manager.
Requirements
- solid understanding of how search engines work
- knowledge of keyword research
- strong knowledge of xhtml and css
- working notions of javascript and php
- proven track record of successful SEO projects
Responsibilities
- reinforce solid SEO best practices, make appropriate recommendations and evangelize throughout the organization
- implement SEO strategies across web development teams
- consistently analyze new SEO opportunities and prepare SEO campaign proposals
- work with development teams to improve site architecture
- work closely with SEO Manager and junior SEO researchers
Experience and skills
- 2 + years of SEO experience in similar role
- strong interpersonal skills
- excellent planning skills
- ability to meet deadlines
- ability to work under pressure
- working knowledge of the Italian language or ability to learn quickly
- previous experience in the travel or hospitality industry a plus
- sense of humour a plus
