If you’re visiting London, England with your sweetie, there are some romantic restaurants you should make reservations at.

Bateaux London

Bateaux London offers a unique experience of a dinner cruise. They offer beautiful views of the Thames river, live music, and a world-class dining experience. There is a jazz band on board and the dinner cruise is capped off with dancing to hits from the ‘60’s, ‘70’s, ‘80’s, and present day. The Bateaux London’s cuisine is classic British. The dinner cruise is available Mon.-Sun. at 7:15-10:45 p.m.

The Bateaux London also offers a lunch cruise which is available for business or pleasure. You can take advantage of the great opportunity to see all the beautiful attractions London has to offer such as the London Eye and the Tower of London. Lunch is offered Mon.-Sat. noon to 2 p.m.

You can also take advantage of their Sunday Lunch cruises which offers up two and a half hour cruises with live jazz music and great views of the city. The theme of the cruise is “American Songbook,” where great tunes from classic artists like Cole Porter, Frank Sinatra, and George Bensen are preformed. Gordon Ramsay’s Claridge’s

If you want the ultimate in romance and a little bragging rights as well, try Gordon Ramsay’s Claridge’s. The world-famous three Michelin star chef and restaurateur, Gordon Ramsay launched Claridge’s on Brook Street.

The menu consists of an ala carte menu which offers such tempting dishes as Ballottine of foie gras marinated in white port with escabeche carrots and toasted rye bread. There is also other dishes like braised Pacific halibut with English asparagus, radishes, spring onions, wilted watercress, and spinach. The ala carte menu also offers delectable desserts such as Valhorna chocolate and honeycomb fondant with orange yoghurt sorbet. The price for the ala carte menu is three courses for 70.00

They also offer a lunch menu which is three courses for 30.00. There are other delightful menus such as the Menu Prestige which is 6 courses for 80.00. There is also a private dining room and chef’s table available.The hours of operation are Mon.-Fri. 12:00-14:45, dinner at 17:45-23:00. They also have lunch on Sat.-Sun. at 12:00-15:15 and dinner at Sat. on 17:45-23:00. Sun. dinner is at 17:45-23:50.

Roussillon

For a true fine dining experience in a romantic atmosphere, try Roussillion. The cuisine is French. They offer a menu with a variety of delicious offerings. The menu includes Sesame Crusted Langoustines, Lightly Smoked Organic Salmon, Sautéed Green Asparagus with Black Olive Quail Eggs. The hours of operation are Mon.-Sun. Lunch at 12:00-14:30 and for dinner, 18:30-22:30. The dress is casual smart.

Roussillon offers delicious dishes in a truly romantic atmosphere. Their menu consists of foie gras three ways, wild garlic herb mashed potatoes with olive oil, Umami, and tarte tatin or green apple sorbet. They also have an extensive wine selection with over 400 types of wine from many different areas like Bordeaux, Provence, and Italy. Some of these include the Chateau Grand-Puy-Lacoste and Chateau de Ricard from the Bordeaux region.
