Friday, June 3rd, 2011

Two words say it best whenever you are talking about Parisc’est magnifique! The city is not only the capital and largest city in France, it is considered by many worldwide as the cosmopolitan capital of Europe.  Paris is literally brimming with art, cuisine, culture, fashion and history as well as having the reputation of being one of the most beautiful and romantic cities in the world.  As a result, Paris is still one of the top tourist destinations in the world.

Another aspect of the city that many locals and tourists love is the wealth of nightlife that you can find here whenever visiting.  This is especially true where Paris dancing venues are concerned.  The versatility of the city is nowhere as visible as it is at night time when exploring the pleasures of the evening.  The following is a list of the top 5 dancing venues:

Les Bains – DJ played music is the main venue at this recently renovated dance club.  It is considered one of Paris’ hippest night spots and features a top-quality sound system.  The club was originally a Turkish bath venue but you would never know that to see it now.  The scene here is typically set with disco, house, and rock music.

Batofar – DJs and live music are the main fare here and features a novelty type of environment in that is set on a red lighthouse ship which has been moored on the Seine River.  The music fare is comprised of the more popular house and techno music to dance the night away to.

Le Cab – located near the Louvre, Le Cab features a great blend of house, techno, and ultra-modern dance music.  This is definitely the most popular venue for the beautiful people of Paris as well as trendy college students.  If you’re in a larger group, you might want to splinter off into smaller groups as the club has one of the toughest door policies in the city of Paris.

Barrio Latino – this is considered the place for the early birds of the Paris nightlife as it is one of the few that closes at 2 am compared to other clubs in the city that are open until well after the sun has risen.  But don’t let that fool you as you get a lot of bang for your buck here.  It is definitely one of the friendliest clubs in the city.

Rex Club – since the middle of the 1980’s, this dance factory has always been known for its great dance venue and how crowded it gets during the summertime.  Top DJ’s and a top notch sound system make this one of the most desirable clubs to go dancing at.
