The city has an extremely busy schedule of artists performing for Parisiens and tourists alike. Concerts in Paris are a major source of tourism for not just the city itself but for the whole of France.

Radiohead fans will be pleased to know they are playing at the Palais Omnisports – Bercy, on the 11th of October. Palais Omnisports opened in  1984, designed by a team of French architects. It has a distinct pyramidal shape, its walls covered with a sloping lawn. It enhances performances with the use of lighting, special effects and sound applications.
Jennifer Lopez is also performing at the Palais Omnisports on the 16th of October, followed by Muse on the 18th, again to the greate delight again of English rock fans. Palais Omnisport is located at 8 Boulevard De Bercy. This centre is expecting an outrageous event on the 18th, owing to the Muse’s reputation of performing a range of rock genres with energy and extravaganza.
Contemporaries of Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath, Deep Purple are expected to be on tour starting October 24th, and will be performing in the city on the 13th of November. The concert is to take place at Le Zénith; a rejuvenation of the Pavillon de Paris. It is an indoor amphitheatre and its construction marks the rock n roll culture in Paris.
Also performing at Le Zénith, after Deep Purple, is the Irish rock band The Cranberries. Known particularly for their alternative rock music, but with a range of indie pop, post-punk, Irish folk and pop rock elements, the performance is to take place on more than a week later on the 25th of November.

For alla those planning a trip to Europe, these concerts land you in the right city – Paris!
